No way the poor TREY, I've played the demo and I went from not fussed about the game to day one buy, I've played their past game and enjoyed it but with so much coming out Feb/March i was gonna pass up on Heavy Rain until april, not now. DAY ONE BABY!!!

I only missed the second controller shaking QTE. Played it through on "trick" and "buy" to see how that scene played out. "Trick" is definitely the more emotional and interesting of the two.
For those of you who are wondering how a lot of people in this thread got the demo already, we went through a fairly extensive process in order to download it. You otherwise can't just log into PSN and find it ready for download. If you want to find out how to get the demo too, just go to the Heavy Rain forum here on Gamespot and there are many threads that show you how to get the demo.

Anyhow, the demo is awesome and I'm even more pumped than I already was. Shelby's scene is definitely the best in terms of how things play out. You don't even have to do the fight scene and just let her take a beating :P
After a long download, I finally got the chance to play through it a couple of times. It's really good - the only thing I don't like is having to hold down the R2 button, along with moving the left analog stick, to move. I mean, who thought this was a good idea? Why can't I just move with just the analog sticks? I don't why, but that really bothered me throughout the demo. In the end, I liked it and can't wait to get this game.
i played the demo 6 times today.. this game is gonna be amazing!! i like the detectives minority report glove and his scanning glasses.. simply amazing demo!!!! i cannot wait for this game!

Hmm, he has futuristic style stuff eh, seems odd, everything I've seen makes it look like it's set in the modern day. Hope they don't go mad with this like they did with Indigo Propechy and suddenly have the Origami Killer being a giant folded paper alien or something ridiculous.

Question- How often do QTEs appear? And if you fail them, is it game over?

All the time, you have to follow a bunch of QTEs just to use your inhaler. Sometimes failing to do so will simply have the story going with a different path or it will just ask you to press the button and not do anything until you press the required button.

Don't know haven't played the demo since I don't have a PS3. I saw the gameplay video of this section from ages ago though, it reminded me of like futuristic CSI with crazy digital evidence markers instead of the little yellow flags they usually have.

Honestly, the demo doesn't give away anything, plus it's quite short. Playing it won't stop you having the full experience of the final game.

Yea, the demo doesn't really spoil much if anything, it just gets you to see how good of a game this could be. With that said, I liked the demo a lot, and i'm probably going to buy it regardless of score. However, I'm tempted to say that i feel the QTEs could get repetitive after a while. Since this is a demo, we probably won't feel it being boring given that we played it for 15 minutes maybe. What i'm saying is that i hope they get a little creative with the QTEs in the later parts.
