Kev_Unreal: Pro Gamers Hot List 2007

Hello, this is Kev_Unreal but call me Kev.

The following list will show games that is definitely most wanted for Pro Gamers.

1) Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii)

2) Unreal Tournament 3 (PC)

3) World of Warcraft: TBC  (PC)

4) Supreme Commander (PC)

5) Command and Conquer 3 (PC)

6) Halo 3 (360)

Virtual Fighter 5 (PS3)

(update) name some games and I will add them to this list.;)

Yhea, I think also C&C3 should definetely should be added... however... you should just add each game that has a big online community.

Unless you are making a living out of competing in games, you are not a pro gamer. That I agree with. The thing is that games like Smash and Unreal will be games that pro gamers will compete in.

Anyways, add in the following games, Kev:

World of Warcraft: TBC due to the recent move by Blizzard to make it into a competitive game.

Halo 3 due to it's very large fanbase.

Command and Conquer 3 for obvious reasons.

Supreme Commander, which I have no doubt will become large this year as a competitive game. 

Shadowrun will probably get a lot of players..Laughlin_12

Depends. It'll probably end up as a sleeper hit, which I'm hoping is not the case.

When he said pro gamer and listed Unreal and Smash, it's pretty much a given. I don't think anyone is into competitive Resident Evil.

"Pro" is a word often associated with "competetive play." He probably meant for this list to be a collection of upcoming games for gamers who enjoy competition. Singleplayer games don't belong.

Back on topic: You listed UT3..so I don't have anything else to add :)

Hmm...

Despite the lack of online, add in Virtua Fighter 5 and Tekken 6.  Guild Wars Eye of the North is coming but I'm not sure if there is an image for that yet.

Depending on how  EA/Mythic plays their hand, I can see Warhammer Online being a big competitive game as well.

I hope to god Metroid Prime 3 is not a competitive game.

Prime Hunters is hindered by imbalances and exploits. Prime 2's multiplayer was just...awful.

Prime Hunters is hindered by imbalances and exploits. Prime 2's multiplayer was just...awful.

Hunters was pretty fun, though.  Except for that imbalances and exploits part.
