Its amazing people or fanyboys trying to dis that they are only using 4.5 of spu's in the cell lol. Shoot EA still hasn't learned how to use any of them lol. And whats should scare some is that the ps3 has been on par with everything out there most of the time with out using any of them or just barely being utilized.
I'm definitly ancious to hear more or some info for the online of kz2 though, I'm hoping that they are putting something together really nice.

First one looked awesome and promising as well, look how that turned out.
Anyway; lol @ TC, I bet he doesn't even know what this means. Nor does 98% of the posters in this thread.

I played KZ1 over a friends hpuse and it was quite good. Apart from the death animations and a few bugs it was fine.
I dont see why people sat that KZ2 will be bad becuase the first one was not great. KZ liberation was one of the best shooters on the psp, plus its not even guirella making the game. Its them + hundreds of devs + a ton of money + all the experience of sonys past 1st party games that have pretty much all been great.
You cannot deny it, thise gameplay vids look awsome.

It turned out good. But it had major porting errors. That doesn't mean the game didn't have value.
[QUOTE="Sgt_Crow"]First one looked bad, blurry abd broken and not promising at all.Pariah_001
It turned out bad. And due to the weak hardware in PS2 it had many problems.
Corrected

Guerilla had a very short amount of time to finish a PC to PS2 port. One of the primary problems with the game was the terrible frame-rate. Obviously frame-rate was never a big problem with the PS2 considering GoW 2's frame-rate was just peachy even in 480p.
This wasn't a technology problem. With more time to do the port correctly and add some more polish, Killzone would have been indisputably good.

dont waiste time, you should realise many bashing KZ1 didnt even play the game.... I enjoyed KZ1 though it was nowhere from being a perfect shooter.... Also loved KZ: Liberation on PSP.... surely looking forward to KZ2... (again many bashing KZ2 are just fanboys who dont even own a PS3 and surely wont be playing the game)...

thats the thing the people bashing this game will never get to play it.
Its like when MGS4 was about to came out anf all the 360 owners bashed it. Then it got a 10 and shut the lot up.

Well its SW so things wont change.... Personally though I heard lots of negative comments about NG2, Fable etc etc I never comment on those, since I never played those games therefore I cannot judge...
MGSIV got bashed for nearly every aspect of the game.... then it was released, I got the game and enjoyed reading posts from haters bashing it while I was enjoying and actually playing the game :)
Now its Resistance2, LBP & KZ2 turn to be bashed constantly and for every imaginable reason... even the most ridiculous ones..
6 cores?
Oh dear are they shure they have a cell i thought it has one core and some little spe's that dont do much xD
toxicmog
Do you honestly believe that the spe's "don't do much?"
Try again.

All games get bashed. Its funny though when someone bashes a game then when it comes out it get a great score.
the thing is though if LBP was coming to the 360 it would be ps3 owners bashing it and 360 owners defending it. it does not matter how good/bad a game is if its exclusive it gets bashed.
[QUOTE="hazuki"][QUOTE="angelkimne"]*facepalm* Cell only has one core cows, not SIX, better luck next time, hope this THREAD fails.mistervengeance
This is true. The 360 has 3 3ghz cores, while the ps3 has one of those, but is split into 6 or 7 individual sections. Though, most developers only use certain parts of the core. Exactly why its so hard to develop for. Could be more effecient if done right. Problem is, it has rarely been done right.
no, the 360 has 3 cores running at a grand total of 3.2 GHZ(each core is at 1.07 GHZ). if there was a 9.6 ghz processor in the 360 it would be over a thousand dollars. the cell has one core at 3.2 ghz, and other side co-processors running at several hundred mhz each.
so, the 360 with it's 3 general purpose cores, and the cell with it's one core and several side cores are roughly the same, as we can see with the general graphics trend this gen.
Wrong, it has 3 cores EACH running at 3.2Ghz and all of the Cells SPE's run at 3.2Ghz each.
The reason why they aren't very expensive is because they are IO Processors.
