killzone 2 visuals vs Gears of War visuals who wins??

Gears has better anti aliasing.

Killzone 2 has better everything else.

I played the first 2 lvl of the sp but it just didn't hook me (the story or lack of didn't help) but even in the sp I was alittle disappointed by the graphic, so much

hype and I just didn't see anything special this is all IMO its a great game and the online is crazy fun (warzone anyone) but I dont think of it as the graphic king

When are people going to learn that screen size =/= quality? Bigger screens just mean more image scaling, the image is 720p regardless of the size of the TV showing it.

It seems it makes allot of memory based sacrifices to accommodates Cells additional calculation work, which the post processing helps cover up.

Hah! that video only showcases the demo level (ie. first level) of Killzone 2 and it is already enough to prove the point that Killzone 2 is better. In my opinion, the first stage isn't even the best looking stage. I personally think Blood Meridian, Suljeva Sniper Area, Salumun Bridge, and the Train stages are the best looking ones. I wish someone would make a video comparing Blood Meridian stage to Gears of War 2. And as for the character models presentation, they compared the worst shot in Killzone 2 with Gears 2. The video was the demo build, and the demo had nothing to show. The best character model showcase is the beggining before the first stage on the New Sun, and basically every other in-game cutscene. That video barely showed any of Killzone 2's strong points.

i personally can't compare the 2, one is a TPS (gears 2) and the other is an fps, no matter how many comparison videos i see, i can't say one is better than the other, gears 2 does everything well as third person shooter and killzone 2 does everything well as a third person shooter. i don't think it's fair to compare a tps to an fps, they both suffer from some seriously low res textures, the lighting is def better on killzone 2, but thats about it and i have seen better particle effects than both in other games (check out explosions in fear 2 whilst in reflex mode)delta3074

If you can, enjoy both, but if you can't, enjoy with what you have
