Same map -_-, but it is looking pretty damn fantastic, apart from the tearing and texture pop in.

Judging by the visuals alone, Killzone 3 has an upperhand, it ran so smooth and visually looked stunning.

With Crysis 2 it looks alright, it had some frame rate dips and lots of pop ins, it looks a lot like MW2 on crack to be honest.

I haven't played crysis ever though, so I wouldn't know how it handles, I may or may not change my opinion when I have both games in my hand and I have a built opinion.

Looks better visually. Better artstyle and much cleaner, sharper graphics. Killzone 3 graphics are all over the place. I can't even tell a peice of concrete rubble from a peice of metal. Looks bad imo.

True. In various vids of KZ3 you see some textures that are well designed and with some nice mapping, in others you see some bland naked texture that you can't figure out what it is supposed to be, and in others you see both at the same time. Then again KZ2 was also like that and it didn't stopped the fanboys to proclaim it the Crysis slayer or something.

I love how some people will rip on me for using direct feed HQ HD video(6800Kbps) for screengrabs and gifs, plus general comparison, but some of these same folks pass judgement on these games on the basis of crappy youtube vids and junk screengrabs, some of which have altered aspect ratios. That my friends is hypocrisy.

I posted it to show the difference in art direction. Killzone 3 looks terrible when it comes to color balance and definition, while Crysis 2s colors are finely juxtaposed. Killzone 3 looks like someone flicked a paintbrush with 3 shades of brown at a canvas.

Because Crysis 2 is one of the potential graphics king saviours that the lemmings have. So if it is better than KZ3 that cows are now hyping as the new graphics king, it's on! 8)

KZ3 looks better from what I've seen (not that low res vid).

I think some people would stab themself before admiting to that though.

With these 2 particular games I'm not comparing them personally. Because I still know that I should be able to have alot of fun with them both.

It shows a lack of confidence in their art direction if you ask me. Especially compared to Stalker, which is also set in a nuclear wasteland. And I've said MANY times that Killzone has the best animations I've ever seen in a game.

Is it me of the first screens from Killzone look better than those stalker screen you posted.? Maybe you are getting bad ones or low spec ones those are not impressive at all.

Second Stalker and any PC game should surpass Killzone 3 without problem,the specs are higher as simple as that there is no shame in that,is not like stalker is running on 360 looking as good as on PC,i don't know but the reasons you use to downgrade Killzone 3 are silly,second and the biggest part Killzone is not based on earth,so every building,or colors should look like everthing on earth does.

From where i see it you are just looking for silly excuses to downplay something that look incredible already,the level of graphics show in Killzone 3 multiplaying beat almost all games on 360 single player which say allot,because games tend to look better in single player than in multiplayer,but Killzone manage to keep those great graphics there when many other games loss them.

Also what i have see so far is 1 stage,so how can i judge a palete of colors of a complete game by just 1 map,what i have see in the artic stage look incredible,with snow,waves hitting ice burgs things falling down destrutible environment it is just great,now i am not downplaying Crysis 2 in any way,but i think like i say that Crysis 2 will look better but on PC on 360 or PS3 i think Killzone 3 will beat it quite easy.
