Yep, it was obvious the graphic differences between the PS4 and X1 would be huge, Killzone looks 100x better than anything shown on the Xbox One

These are prebaked reflection. Show me a Ceph or Cell soldier walking pass a shiny wall with reflection to prove it. The squirrel reflection is cubemap.

The monitor screen changes, it isn't pre baked. Here is a picture showing a case i moved in front of the vent and was reflected. As for the squirells in the water, if you think that is a cubemap, then might want to go look up what a cubemap is, considering it would be rather hard to reflect moving squirells in real time with a technique used to create prebaked reflections.

And people are comparing a pathetic console dev with Crytek. For more info go and view all Crytek's presentation. One thing you will notice that they don't hide their techniques, they share with other developers. So you can easily guess who does R&D and who simply follows.

Only throwing buzz words around didn't discuss any problems in detail unlike Crytek. Go and download any presentation from Crytek and GG, compare the two and then tell me who's using who's work. Every single presentation of Crytek talks about how to solve problems including complex maths, hell they talked about how to better optimize for PS3 than any Sony dev ever did.

Oh and Crytek usually gives these lectures/presentations continously and have written many articles on new realtime graphics techniques which is published in many of the best known professional gaming books. Can I have a link of any presentation/article/books GG/SSM/ND wrote or invent new techniques?

When you don't know anything then don't try to act like you do. Crytek already explained why their games were SubHD. They are using way more advanced techniques than all your Sony First Party. They talked about it in GDC and also when Digital Foundary interviewed them. Do you know they achieved all their graphics effects using only the RSX in PS3, not using the cell at all, not because they don't know how to do it but because the size of their levels prevented them from doing so. So they butchered the resolution.

But anyways, we were talking about who has more technical skills, you haven't provided anything that Sony first party did/or invented rather than following Crytek's solutions all along.

So Sony First Party are technically inferior after all, gotcha. Well, different technical experts disagree with you on your viewpoint about Crytek on consoles. And I never said GG hides, I said they don't have anything to show and they didn't show any implementation details like Crytek always does, for which you didn't provided any evidence.

We have seen less of Ryse then most Next Gen titles, but that reveal trailer on the beach when the boat crashed looked great. If the set pieces are all that good only fanboys would say the game is ugly.

These are prebaked reflection. Show me a Ceph or Cell soldier walking pass a shiny wall with reflection to prove it. The squirrel reflection is cubemap. gpuking

Particles are light sources.

Light is reflected off of the water ripples and onto walls, foliage and objects.

To be fair Crytek has a ton of studios so hopefully they're just bug fixing the shit out of it, plus I played the leaked build of Crysis 2 a few months before it came out and that was probably even more broken than Ryse looks.

That's console shooters for ya!

So I tried playing Medal of Honor from the Origin Bundle... the FoV is locked at 55 degrees with absolutely no way to change it. I'm glad I didn't pay much for it because it took about 2 minutes for me to get a raging headache. FoV adjustment is a simple feature to implement and ruins a game if it isn't there.

If graphic fidelity is the deciding factor to which "wins", then gaming needs another crash.. Seriously..

Sadly, graphics seem to be the ultimate judging factor these days, smh. I couldn't give 2shts about graphics, which is why my PC isn't super duper powerful. It runs on standard simply because I see no point on shelling out a couple hundred just for graphics.
