Update: Covington and Burling LLP, a law firm that have previously acted on behalf of Microsoft Corporation requested the removal of the document. This doesn't validate the veracity, however, Occam's razor...

Xbox 720 to have an AMD Kaveri APU confirmed.

• Expected performance matches Kaveri.
• 64ALU is the GCN GPU inside the Kaveri APU.

yep it looks real, just read the whole thing, the always on thing was something they really wanted to do with kinect, basically next gen kinect will be able to turn on just by voice... also the ability to DVR and watch thru hub is very interesting, all looks real, really real. 4 gigs of ram and backward compatability? Sony better have their game on, cause that is gonna be huge selling point.

Sounds good, hope it's real. With 4GB RAM (8 times current gen), plus the part which says DX11 +, I think it would do well with next gen engines. Plus, full support for 3D which could be great.

you read between the lines a bit and basically it would be their smartest move. omitting anyhting the hd 9000 series has to offer than wont be a rebadge. the hd 8670 mars should be roughly equal to a gts 450

How so? It is 4GB of United DDR4 RAM. 128 bit seems right for the kind of GPU they are putting in that machine. btw: The GPU is not high end.

It could be a Piledriver-based Hexa or Octa core APU.

64ALU based APUs don't get released until.....next year.
