Because it's just easier. On the PC not all my friends could play on the 360 theres split screen for the ones who don't even have 360s, nearly everyone on live has a headset, all the people I play with reagularly do no so on the PC. Sure on the PC I'd have gotten mods but mods for mods gets a little stale, more so when there are better zombie mods out there. To lazy to link. http://www.moddb.com/mods/killing-floorTasman_basic
You should read the thread. There have been several discussions that indicate that the PC version has split screen also. You don't have to point out that this is one of the reasons you got it.
I don't have it yet, but I'll be buying the 360 version because I have many friends that either have or are getting the 360 version as well.
I'm pretty sure Valve is going to give 360 owners a giant middle finger in terms of support just like they did with TF2, despite the ridiculous sales The Orange Box enjoyed on the 360. Yes, I know the PC version sold far more but damn, you'd think they could throw us a bone here given how much money we've given them.
I'm not sure that many people who bought the OB for 360 bought it for TF2. EVERY single person who bought L4D bought it for L4D.Wow. Versus mode is some of the best fun I have had this year in a shooter, let alone any game. Amazing stuff, so much fun playing it again and again. Im surprised how good it is.skrat_01I finally beat every movie. I'm trying versus after work today. Can't wait.

No way it is, not even the latest community version - even though I have put massive amounts of hours into it with friends, compared to L4D.
Even though it is very different to L4D and still its the best Zombie survival mod methinks - its amazing what has been done with the engine - id say L4D does top it, but honestly as a modification KF is an amazing feat... Especially when you look at the massive limitations of the unreal 2 engine.
Although mods for mods? The current content incoming for L4D looks great - the DoD Remake mall especially. Playing Killing Floor non stop this year at uni with friends, and user made maps - and maps we had made in unreal ed, boosted its longevity by a huge margin.
Only thing is L4D is a game that you have to play with friends. If you computer is that horrible, or your friends are all on Live - then by all means buy the game on the 360 :)

Playing on a server full of friends - just a minute ago, through No Mercy was absolutely amazing. Its unbelievable how much the mode adds as an extra layer to the game. Having people has super zombies puts in a whole new dynamic.
Having people has super zombies puts in a whole new dynamic.skrat_01I just like the idea of working WITH the evil Director AGAINST other humans. And vice-versa.
[QUOTE="skrat_01"]Having people has super zombies puts in a whole new dynamic.JandurinI just like the idea of working WITH the evil Director AGAINST other humans. And vice-versa.Yup its fantastic. There is still huge amounts of teamwork as the infected, and it ups the tension of playing as a survivor considerably - and makes it even funnier when people make mistakes on either sides e.g. hunter missing a guy and leaping off the roof of a skyscraper
Because my friends with PCs are cheap and never buy new games. When they get around to L4D, I may buy the PC version, but for right now, I'd rather play with people I know. My console owning friends, however, generally buy everything on or around launch.
Make sense?

Having people has super zombies puts in a whole new dynamic. oh no you miss read my PC is fine but alot of my friends have to PC. Yrue you can play L4D on your own but who plays zombie survial horror on their own? Give it a few months then decide wich is better I think you have let the apparent freshness on L4D jade your veiw. It is not realy that great, true I have it on the 360 wuch the longer it lasts the more I regret as it sucks balls in split screen is a sloppy port that neir runs as well or looks as crisp. To top all that off I pay for live and ALL the servers are in the US so no matter what you always get red ping on 360 in AUS, that my not be true actualy but here in Tassie we are stuck with ADSL can't get ADSL2 at my place yet.

Agreed. It's a blast playing as the special zombies.
i have money to afford a 360, but i won't because a) i already have one b) it's not a necessity to me (money better spent on food and other things) c) money is really tight right now so your logic might be a little flawed...Boostinsane
A) If you can afford to buy a 360 you can afford to upgrade your PC. You simply choose not to. Im failing to see why this is such a hard concept for you to understand. It doesn't matter whether you consider upgrading for just one game to be a poor value or not, you are capable of doing so. The money excuse doesn't work.
B) Irrelevent.
C) Irrelevent.
here's your argument. the money excuse works under certain conditions. victory never tasted so sweet.
/argument again
In actuallity, you were fighting over a battle that in truth never existed, because that was never the arguement. He was simply stating if you can afford a 360, you could simply instead pay on a PC upgrade. 360 or PC update, a choice of money going to it. Just because someone doesn't have that cash, it doesn't change the fact that you are paying to either one or the other if you had the money to do so.[QUOTE="RyanShazam"]Because i don't game on my laptop. Why would you play with a controller on PC, Woobabooba?Because controller is like keyboard and mouse that fits in ur hands....only alittle less accurate than mouse.
you can lay down and play unlike keyboard and mouse just less hassle.
and wabablaba to you too?
