No, they haven't abandoned anybody who lives in dies by the next update to the Zelda or Mario series. But they sure have given up on the rest of "hardcore" gamers.Teufelhuhn
This is where third parties come in.
Oh and Nintendo too.
And judging from their previous system.
I could go on but you get the picture. ;)
*Looks at birth certificate* Uhm I think it says I'm 16. And many people grew up on Nintendo and still play their games. Nice try but your argument kinda fails.[QUOTE="Shinno441"][QUOTE="afmsquid"]I agree, Nintendo hasn't abandoned their Core Group; the 12 and under crowd.afmsquid

look at my sig? I own a 360 and plan on getting a PS3 if it gets some good games that apeal to me.
I have a 360 too....and you're the leader of a Nintendo union for Christ's sake. :?
I really like Nitnendo, A LOT!! But that doesn't mean that I don't like the others. I am the leader of a Nintendo Union because Nintendo is by far my favorite Gaming company. But there are SEVERAL other games not on a nintendo system that I like A LOT as well.

Of course that was expected that the sheep would use 1 game out of all of the great titles on the 360. Bioshock and it's kind on the 360 very much disagree with you.

but aren't sheep concidered "fanboys" and don't "fanboys" bash other people that disagree with them by cutting down their favorite console?

That's what I hate about that kind of mentality that just because your old means you have to play games with gun drugs sex and violence. Because it's imaginary and colorful and not dark and drurry means teens can't play it? That's horrible logic to base gaming on, if teh evil Nintendo "ruins" gaming for people like you then I'll be damned glad that I played a part in it by buying Strikers, Zelda, Galaxy, Prime, Brawl and other great Nintendo titles this year.Do any of you sheep even have mortgages, or driver's licenses?afmsquid

It's not a requirement. If you are loyal and devoted to a company, you are a fanboy. You don't have to be blind or aggressive to be one.

but has everyone? God no, I know plenty of people in their 20s who own a Wii.ok guys... I'm sorry, but I am no fanboy. The only game I am playing right now is Bioshock. Before then I was playing God of War 2, and then before that I was playing RE4:Wii Edition.
I may favor a company, but I SHALL DENY being a fanboy... because I can.

Like I said that's just a horrible stance to have and anyone who thinks like that shouldn't be allowed to call themselves a hardcore gamer.[QUOTE="kansasdude2009"]ok guys... 2007 - Best Year Nintendo has Had in a LONG TIME!!!
-- READ --
- Wii Play
- WarioWare: Smooth Moves
- Mario Party 8
- Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree
- Pokemon Battle Revolution
- Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast
2008 - from what we know (and i'm guessing here people)
- Mario Kart Wii - Big Spring Title
- Wii Fit
- Kriby's Adventure
- Animal Crossing - Big Fall Title
kansasdude2009
*edited the list*So you'd consider these games 'core' titles? Some core game players may like mario kart and animal crossing, but their not core games at heart. Lets face it, I have a wii myself, but all the great games are probably going to come from 3rd party. With the exception of super paper mario, I haven't bought a 1st party wii game this entire year. Thats pretty bad.

between you and Nintendofreak_2... both trying to convince me.... I might as well just agree.
And you know... you are probably correct, but I am not 100% by any means. I enjoy games, not just Nintendo games.

Thats not my point, my point is that evry console has kiddy games, but the fact that a game looks like Zack and wiki does not mean that can be as enjoyable and fun as GeoW, thats just judging a game for the way it looks before playing it.

Who are Nintendo's "core" gamers? Sheep. I am 100% sure that all sheep are much happier with the Wii's release schedule than they were with the GameCubes.

I am sure that playing a Pokemon card game can be fun, too, but you don't see to many grown men playing that.
Quick Question. Are any games for the Nintendo Wii online yet?? Just wondering, i bought the hookups but then returned them because no games i wanted at the time had online play. Just curious, that could be why no third party compaies are supporting them. Nintendo making Nintendo games is amazing. But they lack with everything else and often make promises they dont follow through with, for example so far this gen. Online play. it was supposed to be online out of the box. It has been close to a year now.zeldafan00013
Pokemon Battle Revolution, Mario Strikers Charged, and Madden 08 are all online!!!

Last pic.
The character with the sword is the same as the one in the DS version.I have another thing to add:
Saying that Nintendo has forgotten their first fans by making casual games is kinda stupid. That's like saying that Sony forgot their Betamax customers by making a games console. Or that Microsoft forgot about PC users when they made the Xbox.
Nintendo does make core games--for their core audience. 'Hardcores' don't think so because they're not violent, but then again, the Wii isn't marketed to them. Some people still want to play Mario and Zelda, and those are the people who buy the Wii. Some want to play FPS and racing games, so they buy Xbox 360. It's all a matter of taste, and Nintendo is still making the kinds of games that have sold well for years.
