Homepage was just updated again. New revised copies will ship week of 10/27/2008 supposedly. Cool with me, as I wasn't going to get it until after the end of the semester anyway.

Then again I guess I was way off. Not bad, I wonder if they already were working on this before today.

I don't think Sony told MM to do anything, matter of fact, I don't think Sony even scanned through the game and found that offensive religious material. They did the same thing with Resistance 1.

And it doesn't mean you're trolling when you have an opinion, let me have mines. Take a chill pill.

Does this mean that the score will go to a 9.5 now? Obviously removing TWO WHOLE LINES in a song is such a big deal they have to recall the entire shipment so it mush obviously change the scores the "old" version got.

I'm tired of companies hurting consumers as they try and be politically correct. Welcome the controversy, if there is any (doubt it). Free press for your game. I'll be blasting my blatently Christian hardcore bands while playing the game anyways. What are they going to do, knock on my door and take my files-ahem, purchased CD's away?

Prime example of consumerism taken too far. Companies too worried about their own ass and decide to make a game that is totally nuetral. Where's the fun in that? Might as well play handball, or does that have some religious undertone to it, aswell?

EDIT: The wait isn't that bad. I for one was going to withdraw my pre order money and see if I can spot it somewhere to get earlier, but an extra 3 days. First thing I'm going to do when I get it is play the song the game was delayed for while playing the game. Take that, Sony!

Well since you're not trolling and I'm not trolling, what's left are discussions and opinions. LBP did get a score that I accepted to be just right even though it's a lower end AAAE 9.0 and where have you been, sure every company has delays but in my opinion Sony just gets the worse of it.

Look on the bright side, MM might give us more content and such when LBP really comes out. I believe.

the text of the Quran is sacred, it has no place in games or media. you may not understand why because you don't have a parallel in your 'world' but that doesn't excuse from your paying it respect. this isn't true of all muslim sects, but it is true for millions of followers - should they be ostracized from the world of LBP because you people think they shouldn't get offended? it isn't a matter of choice, it's a matter of religion and faith.

How troublesome/What a drag....

I wrote a very long and angry response to this and chose not to post it. Remember that there are those who find the concept of religion offensive and limiting their rights is just as bad as you seeing others infringing on yours.
