It's obviously not as good as Mario Galaxybut it could end up the second best platformer this gen. Super Paper MArio was a dissapointment

Have you played through LBP to make that determination? SMG feels a lot like a last gen game, LBP is very innovative and actually has new gen graphics:|

Yup because that Lair hype really helped to push it scores and don't forget Too Human. That game was hyped so much critics had no choice but to give it high scores.

Personally I've never hated any game that had scored really high here. I really don't believe that 99% of critics can be wrong. A great game is a great game, period. Only fanboys seem to think different.

also lair is a garbage game besides the visuals. and how long was lair hyped, for a month when its was anounced then just before it was released. lbp been hyped for the last 6 months with 100 topics a day.

My point is that hype has zero effect on reviews. Critics are MORE than happy to see a hyped game fall on its face. Just as they are happy as kittens when a hyped game lives up to said hype.

Hype alone does not get you good scores. You sir, are wrong in that assumption. Hard not to look like a troll desperately trying to hate on what is obviously a great game.

did i say i hated it, there are very few games that i hate. is it a good game yes, a great game no, well if you like taking hours to make a good level then ok a great game i dont, and yes my opinion =/= another opinion,

but you cant say that hype has no effect. gta4 deserved a 10? even by "prime" standards, so many great things were taken out from gta:sa with few additions make it no more then a 9(yes imo), now seeing how so many sites gave it a 10 and list about 2-4 bad things about the game.... then how is it a 10?

I was about to buy LBP at Wal Mart, but when they scanned it, the register beeped and it said could not sell :cry: They told me Nov 11 :? Amazon.com (where i have it ordered anyway) says nov 4th, best buy doesn't know, and Gamestop has the 27th. The recall really jacked everything upCouth_

They did the same thing to me when i was gonna get a 40gig ps3 but luckly i saw they had 2 60gigs left and scored one so sometimes it can be a good thing.
