LIVE Activity, Halo Reach, bomba?

I find it funny that the Mafia 2 demo was #6 and the full game was not in the top 20

how many games do u play competitively on-line that doesn't require shooting? :| thats what online gaming is for...putting urself against other people. n most games like that are shooters and sports games. i'm sure the ps3 has a similar list of games in their top 10.

Regarding the games I play online,it´s a mix of RTS,TBS,MMO,FPS and racing,and I bet that a top 10 PC list would have MMO´s,RTS´s and some shooters,wich in itself shows more variety.

And if Diablo 3 was out you could add an action RPG to that list as well.

i was talking about games for the ps3. but you r not solely a ps3 gamer(or one at all) so i'll let that go. but ur list isnt even a list of meaning to me...its just a list of genres, not games. so it doesn't say much of anything to me to counter my point.

It probably accounts for people like me who threw Modern Warfare 2 on last week just to see how much it sucked compared to Halo: Reach :P

List is false. There's no way H3 is above Reach. There's around 200k people playing H3. On the night of Reach's launch, there was 750K online at once. And I've never seen COD playing above 250K eitherBodyElite

Lol there's no way Reach isn't number 1. I have 100 friends, and on day one 60 were online all at once playing Reach, with no one playing MW2 and definitely not H3BodyElite

They both have a lot of variety, just because a ton of people play fps's, it doesn't make all others disappear.

It is still higher than any PS3 Online game is ever going to have unless Sony makes the PSN better.

I'm a big fan of COD4 but MW2 urgh! I cant believe that game is still so popular.

Not sure if this has been posted. Given that this is SW, I doubt anybody bothered to check Bungie's daily numbers. These are at 4:20am PT. Keep in mind they fluctuated a bit while I was sleepily grabbing the screenshots...

Games Played(24h):

H3 + ODST + Reach = 6,836,724

Halo 3 + ODST = 346,667

Reach = 6,490,057(about what's listed in the Reach games played above)

Players Online(24h):

H3 + ODST + Reach = 2,373,226

Halo 3 + ODST = 219,007

Reach = 2,154,219...bonanza!!!

If Halo Reach is a bomb because of how many people are online, then Killzone 2 is not in very good shape...

It is i was playing yesterday Halo Reach and only 425,000 + were online like and hour and half latter i played MW2 on PS3 and had 300,000+ the number are incredibly close considering Halo has always beat any PS3 game by considerable margins,on 360 MW2 easy get probably from half a million to close to a million i dare say.

Week of 13th, Reach came out the 14th. Most people played single player, Forge, Theater, and all the things BESIDES multiplayer. It will be on top soon.............and for a LONG time ;)navyguy21

There is no reason to think Halo Reach will not make it to the first spot for some weeks,but after COD black ops land i think much like it happen with Halo 3 COD will beat it again.

Well that is because you played on a peak hour,i also played a few nights ago and it was 700,000 + for Halo reach as well,if i go now online it would be allot less than 700,000.

In fact just now i turned my 360 and is 383,000+ see for your self,there are peak hours and low hours,the number i posted were from yesterday like 3:00 PM or something like it,and MW2 like on 4:30,now MW2 on PS3 should have from 175,000 to 200,000 players.

I never see stats for 24 hours,beause that account different gamers all day,which if we do for other games it would probably give similar results or better in cases like MW2 games,and since many of those games just tell you how many players are now and don't tell you how many for the complete day is useless.

If Halo Reach is a bomb because of how many people are online, then Killzone 2 is not in very good shape...
