LOL at the textures of MGS4!

I know I know that but it still sucks hard.I mean my graphics card has more VRAM then the total RAM in PS3.:lol:

I can play crysis with very high textures without breaking a sweat for that reason.8)

Now tell me consolietes,would you like to have the "option" of upgrading your RAM for $40 and get better textures in MGS4 and future games?Nah dont kid yourself you would in a hearbeat and you know it as well.:lol:

Look at the superior lighting, shading, variety of colors, 3-D perception, touchable textures, etc. PC cant do that? Hmmm Oh Noes something pwns the PCs graphics.

This is exactly what you are doing when it comes to PS3 comparsions to PC.

And ya sure we dont play textures but they do play a part in the overall experience of the game.When you eneter a new sceneray the textures play a big part in forming the impression,and I dont know about you but I would actually stop while playing games just to gaze at the graphics.

Mate my pc trumps my 360, PS3 and Wii in terms of total ram, doesn't mean I go around bragging about it.

And last I checked I would rather play a game for the gameplay then the graphics, go play boom blox or the world ends with you, fantastic games but are the graphics comparable to pc gaming at max?

Answer is no, doesn't mean they aren't good games however.

Maybe the entire effect is amazing, go watch the moving footage of the first ten minutes of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - Kojima Productions, Konami (Playstation 3) it looks pretty good.

I play crysis DX9 very high settings(looks 95% as good as DX10 with much beter performance) at 10x7 with 2xAA.The performance is mostly in the low twenties but if you have played crysis you will know that it's quite smooth with 20FPS.

Sure my PC is more expensive than any console,but is only 50% more expensive than a launch PS3 and it is MUCH better than a PS3.Comparing it to a launch PS3 is only fair cuz my graphics was also near lauch price when I got it and I could have waited for a price drop just like in the case of the PS3.

Look, graphics really don't matter that much, i know as a hermit thats your natural instinct to argue about graphics, but there not all that matter. IMO as long as there about Halo 3 quality it doesn't really matter.

Well according to Newegg the prices more than a year later from when you bought it are :

8800gts - $230

e6550 - $160

2gb Ram - $50

Then theres the case, power supply unit, motherboard, cooler, optical drive, hard drive, additional pci (tv tuner/network card), monitor, sound cards and most of all the prices have gone down since then. But ill give you the benifit of the doubt and assume your telling the truth and it really did cost $900.
