Major upcoming exclusives for the PS4 this holiday season?

I'm genuinely curious. Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I'm not aware of a big PS4 exclusive releasing from now until the end of the year. Bloodborne's coming out in February next year, but what's due for rest of 2014?

Upcoming Wii U exclusives for 2014:

• Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
• Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker

Upcoming XB1 exclusives for 2014:

• Master Chief Collection

Upcoming PS4 exclusives for 2014:

• LittleBigPlanet 3, I guess? But it's not exclusive to the PS4 since it's coming to the PS3 as well...

Is the PS4 just a hub to play multiplats and indie games while counting the days until Bloodborne releases?

I'll say this again..... why rush out your heavy hitters if you're still killing the competition?

but I will be honest, they should have had one killer exclusive.

Smash Bros isn't exclusive

Halo collection isn't exclusive

LBP3 isn't exclusive

The Order was originally a fall release but that got delayed to february, so it will release close after Bloodborne.

If you count LBP3 and MCC then you can count Guilty Gear Xrd. I heard its very good, but im not into fighters.

@slaves: Smash Bros. is exclusive. No amount of pre-emptive damage control for the incoming second Wii U AAAAE in as many months will change that.

I said earlier this year that I am looking forward to 2015 as that is when the majority of the games I want comes out for PS4. I have the games I want for this year..nothing piques my interest.

Last gen Playstation used to drop exclusive after exclusive and some didn't sell too well. They are being a little smarter this time.

I'll use an example for ya.

If we are boxing, Mayweather for example. I'm not going to go out and knock a guy out in the 3rd round. I'm going to put on a show, make it last. So the next time I fight, you wont say "I'm not going to watch it because he is just going to knock him out in the 3rd again"

@slaves: Two separate games. Two completely different games with different content, different modes, different stages, different music, different music. They're more different than two God of War games are.

Cuz Sony needs the money desperately ? 1.2 billion loss is not exactly pocket change.

The 3DS game and Wii U game have different titles. As said above, they also have different content.

It was already well established that these are two different games. You have to be trying to not follow the games to think otherwise.

LBP 3 and FH 2 (for example), are/should be exclusive because:

• Who cares about fugly last gen versions
• They can only be played on Sony/MS consoles. That's exclusive enough.

That is all until Bloodborne and The Order in Feb '15.

yea, cows are playing the waiting game for Bloodborne and U-farted 4. Its fine though...they like waiting. It'll be worth the wait too, look at DriveClub. Unless they were waiting for the psn+ version...then they're still waiting.

No Im showing you a game that releases on 3DS and WiiU. The 3DS version is just downgraded because it has worse specs than the psp and not because its a different game.

Further proof that what we consider important isn't in the business of consoles. Most people want to play COD, Madden, FIFA, Arkham etc.

Nintendo changed/cut content because the 3DS could not handle it. Miyamoto even said the Ice climbers got cut from both versions because of the 3DS.

Are you saying Nintendo poposely developed an inferior version for 3DS just because and not because of technical limitations?

That is true and sensible if you work for Sony. But there are just gamers here so no one should understanding to that here. It's basically just a rational view of how Sony is taking advantage of its fan base. Fans brought the system, they should be getting satisfied with games and services, now. Not waiting a year (s) for it. Not put on the back burner because Sony got their money and seem to be getting more of it still...Sony need to start delivering.

as a ps4 owner i am tired off these cows on here making excuses about will xbox1 games this wii u games that...where is my big sony games ? xbox1 ppl can play all the 3rd party games plus sso,mcc,fh2,ori,ki2......all i have is 3rd party sh;t...pcgamers have all kinds of games...nintendo has a boat load of game.....ps4 ? indies and sh;t....i know because i picked up driveclub..

Well no shit. The 3DS is barely more powerful than a PSP, like hell it could run Smash Wii U. The fact that it runs Smash 3DS is already unbelievable. What does that have to do with anything?

You see, instead of being like Sony and treating their handheld like a second class citizen, they developed a nice separate version for it. They could have downported or downgraded the Wii U version and called it a day, instead they made two completely separate games.

It has everything to do with if you look at the games exclusivity. The 3DS version is just shit with missing content, but in the end its still the same game.

With that kind of logic every remaster or remake with added content or small changes are different games.

Nintendo could have released the WiiU version a year later, then everybody would have called it a Remake for the WiiU. As is, its a version of the same game aka not exclusive.

But yet the two version can be played online together and they're still not the same game.

Is it just me, or is the holiday lineup (including multi-plats) pretty weak this year?

@charizard1605: Don't damage control Char. SSB is multiplat, end of story. I say this has i plan i geting the Wii U version after skipping the 3ds version.

The only multiplats in the console space that I care about is Far Cry 4 and to a lesser extent Dragon Age Inquisition.

I think the last Fall was worse, but I dont even remember what Multiplats came out.
