Im pretty bitter about Venom, gambit, and some others not being in mvc3. Also a little fussy over Sentinel, magneto, and storm making a return( I understand why they are back though ).

That said, I've finally come to terms with the roster, which made me sick, and Im going to just deal with it. I see myself trying akuma, Zero, and Taskmaster first, but eventually, I'll be using mostly everyone. I never really limit myself to 1 team. Or in other words, a main.

The she-hulk rage is almost as good as the MODOK rage on gamefaqs. Bare in mind guys more characters are being announced.. DLC characters, unless the review builds don't contain them. If strider comes back he's going to be heavily nerfed, I expect some form of megaman to come back because the rage for him is just too much, phoenix wright is definitely coming unless there was a mistranslation in the article and I highly doubt their would be any more x-men, honestly gambit is more than likely not going to see the light of day in this game.

I think we see doctor strange, black panther and someone in the summers family before that happens(even though summers is x-men). Also in terms of mainstream it seems marvel has switch their focus from x-men to avengers.

I hated the pro scene in MvC2, but casaully the game is a blast, servebot was so fun and cute,me and my friends always made teams with him, roll and megaman, man, the fights always ended in time over, fun times were fun.

The only thing I can't fathom is why there's no spiderman villain in the game. The theme of the game was to have villains and heroes but spidey has no villain from it, MODOK appears multiple times throughout avengers stories and even against Ms marvel (which I believe was his debut), surfer was cut due to them not being able to incorporate his board properly, super skrull/dr doom are the F4 representative (I assume it was better to use skrull rather than have F4 taking 4 slots), I'm also surprised strange wasn't there, I've been really pushing for him. Dormammu and no strange?? That's just..... strange!

People have to remember the game is also a sort of advertisement, people go and read up on characters when they see them and such. Anyway I do think capcom will bring more popular characters back through DLC, I don't really mind that. I suppose more people would pass on the less known characters as opposed to say cyclops or gambit.

Dr. Octopus would have been an amazing addition, besides Gambit, another character that i would definetely buy for DLC, IMO is a much more important villian than Green Gobling.

GG was the quintescential Spider-man enemy before Venom came to be... the fact that they keep bringing him back and that has a few copy-cats in the spidey universe means something.

Also there was a reason on why he was chosen as the villian for the first movie, just like the joker was chosen for TDK.
