Funny... Many of the PS2's most beloved games spanned several disks, and the PS2 fanboys didn't seem to care much. Now it has become a huge hot-button issue for them... I wonder why.AfterShafterIt's probably due to the fact that Blu-Ray is one of their only advantages over Sony's competitors.

That's because there were PS1 games from the very beginning that had already exceeded CD's storage capacity. On the other hand, there were no games last generation that pushed DVD's storage capacity.

seeing how Oblivion only took one disk as well, I'm not too worried about the future of the 360. It seems as though MS offers excellent compression tools to developers, unlike Sony whose only option for developers is to put several copies of certain areas on different parts of the disc. For the PS3, BluRay is needed. Can't say the same for the 360 though. Seems as though developers know what their doing with the hardware when games like Oblivion and Mass Effect can fit on a single DVD. :)NedemisOwnage Approved my son..... Absolutely approved...
