@BigBadBully: that Warriors game looks really good too, never heard of it before and I did own a PS2. Looks like it was developped by Rockstar Toronto. I hope they release that on XOne too, definitely my kind of game(brawler).

I would save the word "megaton" for things that are, you know, actual megatons. Not games that become backwards compatible. Whoopdeedoo.

@Alucard_Prime: yeah its a great game. Ive watched the movie too many times and was so hyped when it dropped on ps2. Besides the story campaign they had some bonus modes like king of the hill where you just brawled to the top and tried to hold ur ground.

Would def. Love to see Rockstar turn this into an open world brawler where other players could flesh out the numerous gangs from the movie.

Cool for the people that want to play through it again I guess. Me personally I doubt I could force myself to play back through RDR again, even with it being free. Man the Mexico portion was like watching paint dry.

BC is nice and all, but really no use to me. Nearly anything from the previous gen I wanted to play, I have.

I wonder if it runs better than the original, bought a Bone from an auction site for 150 € + 9 € for posting (quite the deal). A bit desperate for some new gaming tech :P Looking forward on Tomb Raider, RDR, MC collection and Rare Collection at least.

Man, I hope so. RDR is one game that I could not finish because I just couldn't tolerate how bad it was. It slogged like no game I've ever seen, so bad that it affected the gameplay, and I've always been bummed it's not coming to PC to be able to run smoothly. If this runs great, day fucking 0.

Seems like there was a spike of sales for the game. According to the GS article a whooping 6000% but who knows how many were actually buying the game before the reveal and not only that but the sale going on.

Notice how Rockstar has only ever done remasters for tablets/smartphones.

Good news for Xboners, cows act like it's nothing but we all know they'd be blowing up the threads if this was coming to PS4 only instead. Nothing wrong with a properly working, constatnly updated BC model. Even better is that the 360 is emulated and all of this can still exist as BC on Scorpio most likely too. Weeeeeee'll see though.

It would depend on the emulation software. Really good software........like PCSX2 or NullDC.........will of course iron out issues because of the hardware underneath. XB1 has an issue because of the processor speed being 1.75, about half of what 360's was. This is why CPU heavy games like Gears and Halo tend to slow down on BC and GPU heavy games are ironed out.

TL:DR: It depends on the hardware and software the emulator is running on.........and in XB1s case whether the game is CPU or GPU heavy

The game is not coming to XBO is just getting backward compatibility in the first place like it should have being on day 1,but this alone prove how sad is the xbox one,that on year 3 lemmings are actually celebrating as victory getting backward compatibility for an old multiplatform..lol

I have the game on 360 and my son has it for PS3 and the zombie expansion as well.

Fact is 3 years into the 360,PS2,PS3,wii people were not living on past glory days even less from multiplatforms games.

It's pretty bad when the best game for your system is a game that was released last generation. This is Wii U territory pathetic. Maybe at the end of this generation MS and Nintendo can chip in together and share a tombstone.

I just couldn't aim with manual aim on a Dualshock 3, so I used auto aim too.

Will be interesting to play it again on an Xbone controller, as long as there is no input delay from emulation :/

PSN Now is not backward compatibility how a Samsung TV be backward compatible with a sony console? PSN Now is a rental service no different from gamefly,the only difference between them is that is only games for PS and that the services is totally digital,PSN Now basically replace your PS3 as a platform and you stream a low latency video of the game,you don't download anything and the game isn't yours,so you are not buying anything at all.

No because if you sold the game cheap which many did long ago they would not had it,and believe me Gamestop was full of the game and the expansion as well,i own the 360 version and my son the PS3 version with expansion as well.

I have it on PS3. This is not huge. A game being BC is not huge and if you're trying to sell it as huge, you're desperate and hiding something.

I'll admit I'm not great with a controller, but this game without auto aim is incredibly long and annoying. And, it seems I'm not the only one. Look at these people that can't even hit each other from 7 feet away.

In real life, gunslingers can't hit each other from 7 feet away? I didn't know draws usually involved reloading.
