@aigis: And again, i rather deal with fans who bought and played the game than people who havnt. I know it might not make sense to you, but to me, its genius. Cant ever trust people who havnt played.

With Nintendos system, you cant rate a game, unless youve played the game. Now sure, we dont get all them votes from people who didnt play the game to help boost the numbers, but what we do get, quality.

@Solaryellow: Yes, we know this, we have already been though this, i told you this in like the first comment, my question is, whats gonna take their place. What is gonna sell better come holiday season then Yoshi Woolly World, Hyrule Warriors, and Xenoblade Chronicles X?

The staples of Nintendo is what will be pushed rather than niche titles that are not a concern. Besides those, the selects line might still be in supply. All sorts of stores are unloading their stock and not really replenishing what has been sold. From now until Christmas the competition is getting a decent amount of good games. Those will sell rather than a dead console and businesses are acutely aware of the situation. You are bitching at Target for unloading dust collectors yet don't feel the same way about Nintendo dropping prices to $19.99 on certain games or other stores offering other Nintendo games at fire sale prices?

Mate i have no clue what your rambling about.

You were asked a question that was answered. In a rudimentary approach, niche games will not sell this holiday season. Any sales will be enticed with Mario Kart, Smash, Splatoon, etc.., People haven't been lighting up software sales thanks to the games Target has on clearance. Target, Best Buy, Walmart, etc.., are all slashing prices on certain first party Wii U games because no one wants them at full price. Steep discount show what people will pay though. Nintendo can decipher the writing on the wall. The selection of games available at retail is a dud. Nothing of significant importance nor value has been announced for holiday 2016. Paper Mario won't cut it.

@Solaryellow: I havnt seen these slashes. I was talking about one store near me, all stores do clearance individually. But i still dont see the point your trying to make. My question was simple, if my Target store dont think Yoshi Woolly World, Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Hyrule Warriors will sell during the holidays, then what games will replace them.

There is an empty spot where they once were. My question is simple, what goes in that empty spot come holiday season, the best time to sell games.

But on a game like federation force, a lot of the people who have very valid criticism on the design of the game conceptually will not support the game by buying it. The people who do (and then use the eshop at that, cause who really rates things on the eshop) are just yes men who bought the game with the sole intention of ignoring anything bad with the game. Its skewed too

@aigis: I dont see the issue though. If they played the game and want to vote, they are free to do so. They paid the price. Again, its better to deal with fans scoring the game who you can guarantee played it, then people who havnt played it trying to score the game.

@iandizion713: point, but really its skewed this way as well because the people who are buying the game and voting on the eshop are going to inflate the score. Devils third scored a 4/5, Mario Party 10 scored a 4/5, and Amiibo Festival scored a 3.5/5. They all scored well and they are all trash games.

@aigis: Again mate, i rather have it skewed by people who paid and played the game, then having it skewed by people who havnt paid or played the game. I find eShops setup genius.

@iandizion713: It doesnt matter which way it is skewed. Being skewed is bad and eshop has a heavy bias.

@aigis: Again mate, i find it better than the more skewed rating systems. In order to vote on eShop, you have to have played the game.

You are so enamored with Nintendo that you ignore what's happening around you. Target is slashing prices. Best Buy just had a fire sale a few weeks ago. Amazon (no, not third party sellers) is also discounting certain games. I wouldn't want to be a retailer stocking Nintendo this holiday season. The competition is going to be hard to beat with what Nintendo has to offer both old and new. Target will still have SOME games for the Wii U just like every other holiday where some games are and are not available through that retailer. This isn't rocket science, Mesume. Retail availability of games always change.

@iandizion713: Again its crazy skewed though. Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric has a 3.5/5 on the eshop. The game is complete garbage though, its buggy as hell and wasnt even meant to run on the wii u. The dialogue is awful and the combat is boring. The game scored a 32 on metacritic, but its a 7/10 on the eshop???

@Solaryellow: Nevermind mate, lets just drop it.

@aigis: Bro, 3.5 on eShop is kinda low compared to all the other games. Also, thats a kids game, of course they gonna rate it good, they like Sonic. But again, i rather trust those people who paid and played for Sonic Boom, than trust the other biased rating systems who havnt done the same.

anybody who really likes Sonic Boom isnt qualified to tell you what a good game is. Also if 3.5 is low on eshop thats over half their scale! whats separating a awful game like Sonic Boom at 3.5 from a good game like hyrule warriors at 4.5, one star between fun and broken? Or maybe Mario party 10's 1 star out from a perfect score when the game is bad. Point being, you cant trust the eshop

@aigis: And again, i rather trust people who paid and played the game, then people who didnt. Also, eShop has never let me down, not once. Had i listened to ratings from sites that allow people who havnt played Federation Force to vote on it, i would have missed out on greatness.

@aigis: I wouldnt know, its not appealing nor caters to my taste. I dont like Sonic cause hes all about speed and repetition, two things i dont care for in games. I dont rate, follow, or play Sonic games, havnt in awhile.

@aigis: I dont just go by a number. If, the game was appealing to me, or something i was interested in, i would evaluate it on many levels, including but not limited to the number of people voting on it on eShop.
