Good thing I do point out hypocrisy on both sides. We use GameSpot's reviews in SW, no matter how hard fanboys whine and complain when GS shafts them. End of story.

Hmmm... I've been here for awhile, and as near as I can tell, GS scores are the only scores that are "real" in the sense of being used for ownage purposes. However, only fanboys (and only when it is convenient at the time) seem to have a problem with mentioning other scores AT ALL. They may not be "official," but they exist in the world of gaming and can (and should) be mentioned in relevant discussions between adults.

Oh, absolutely. To me, personally, GS scores are useless. I hate their reviews and find them to be poorly written. I have a few review sources I trust, myself.

But in SW, the only score that counts is GS's score, and fanboys love using it until a game on their platform flops or a game on a rival system does great, then all you read is "Well, on GR (Metacritic, IGN, 1Up, etc) the game is a _____".

And yet the number of AAs it's recieved rivals Uncharted or Ratchet and Clank.

The only people who think MGS4 is anything remotely special are MGS fanboys. I've had the opportunity to play it on several occasions and let me tell you, 92% is an extremely generous score for this game.

I didn't say I didn't enjoy MGS4. It was fun. But hardly the EPIC WIN that Cows were shouting out. The gameplay was stale, the animations were reminiscent of Battletoads & Double Dragon. The controls were stiff the the point of near failure. The graphics were INCREDIBLY washed out. MGO is god awful. For an AAAA game, this game failed badly in many situations. But it's still fun.usmcjdk6
