Aside from emphasizing the minutia of spelling errors as a way of warding me off, you haven't shown that you have a very strong case. Instead of trying to make the people who've said these things to you represent the entire board, perhaps you should take up your sour attitude with them.

This thread puts lemmings into shame, first lemmings said that only GS scores count and now they move to GR wow thats so pathetic. MGS4 got a 10 and GS is the only site that counts. If you want to start a flamebait go to GR forums or another site.

Also you are compraring a 2008 game with one released 2 years ago that is years, you have to understand that scores get different each year. If GeoW was released right now, I bet you 500$ it would get 90% or less in GR, same with Oblivion and all those crappy games that you listed which doesnt even deserve to be in the same sentence with MGS4 the best game of all time.

I will use your Gears of War as the comparison due to your profile picture. I see 21 perfect scores for MGS4 and 24 perfect scores for Gears of War. BUT, Gears has nearly 70, yes 70 more reviews than MGS4, yet they are almost equal in perfect scores. Also, take a look at some of the reviews that gave MGS4 an 8.0. They are garbage. One of the Euro reviews stated that you have to go through the first couple of acts FIGHTING BOTH SIDES OF THE MILITARY BECAUSE THEY WILL BOTH AUTOMATICALLY COME AFTER YOU IF THEY SEE YOU. Did this dude play the game? The rebels are on your side as long as YOU don't attack them. Most of those 8.0's don't take the game for what it is, it is Metal Gear, not some FPS with NO STORY. And yes I own a 360 and Gears, it is not close to MGS4. I also see NCAA football 04 ahead of MGS4, do you think that is better as well? I hope not unless you are blind. MGS4 is epic, deal with it.

I'm just stating that listing a score from a different site doesn't mean you're contradicting yourself. Contradicting yourself would be saying "Only GS scores matter. However this game got an AAA on IGN, so GS i wrong. Only IGN score matters".

MGSIV is better than most of the games on the list for me. It is sad to see people try to deny its greatness so as to convince themselves that it sucks. All you are doing is missing out on a great game.
