Man, every time I see the fact that you need to pay a monthly fee in order to use garbage like internet explorer on the xbox I think I die little inside.

However, don't you agree this kind of different this time? Remember when Microsoft says you will be able to use the Xbox one guide to surf television during the reveal? I get that most people who will buy XB1's will be gamers, but Microsoft is trying to take the XB1 into other territories with television and NFL. If television is a selling point, why charge for the guide? Does the NFL subscription have a monthly fee too? At this rate, the XB1 should come with a built in Credit Card slot.

Its a shame you buy a 360, you pay for internet, you pay for netflix, but they wont even let you use netflix on the 360 unless you pay for XBLG? hell you cant even message a friend or really have a friend list unless you pay for gold.

If they gave some value to XBLG then I could justify it, but really what do you get? 2 games a month.

Under normal circumstances 2 games a month is all well and good but its the fact that PS+ gives so much more that its value is more than justifiable and actually gives the customer a lot to make it well worth their purchase.
