Ever since Journey released there's been this horrible misconception that PSN is where indie games are born. Couldn't be further from the truth.

Notice how all those games (except day z) are still on Xbox? In fact XOne gets Minecraft, PS4 doesn't (even though Sony sent notch a gold playstation, still got rejected lmao but thats another story).

What I was saying was that if a game does become successful like micecraft (which lets be honest is rare, a lot of indies are total garbage) then chances are it'll get swooped up by a publisher, at least so that it can be put on XBox (like MS has done with numerous indie titles, Minecraft included). Which is why I didn't think them blocking self published indies was a big deal at all.

Good news, the 3gb restriction i hope could be because they will be running these games on windows 8 and streamlined ports to the xbox one app will mean all games dev under 3gb will be available to xbox one platform.     It could also be possible the xbox one app to play indies is on the 3gb that is dedicated to the Operating system as talked about.    What that means im hoping for that you will be able to play an indie or self published title and pause the game, switch to a retail game say forza 5 and start playing all along in the backround that game is still on pause just waiting for you to come back to it.     Kinda follows what Microsoft is trying to do as far as switching from TV to Xbox One to xbox indie app to forza 5 to play blue ray movie that is in its disc.   pretty cool stuff.
