Intresting since he says he is the Corporate Officer and Vice-president of Strategic Planning & Business Development for Capcom. Seems like I'll belive this guy before a random rumor. Was worried for a minute for PS3.....if this rumor turned out true it would be a huge hit IMO.

Why is everyone freaking out? It's buisness people, that's all it is.

If MS can pay Capcom enough $$$ to keep RE5 off PS3 for a few months, then that's a great decision for them, especially considering how weak they are in Japan right now.

And really, if this goes down and Sony doesn't do anything to stop it, then that's their problem.

I agree its an excellent move by MS if true, saying that if Sony allow this to happen i will be very disapointed in Sony.

If this was the other way around and it was rumoured to bea PS3 timed exclusive i think the PS3 would reap a bigger benefit overall due to the influx of potential customers holding off buying a PS3 untill a price drop etc. Sony have already dropped the ball to many times they keep doing so it will be game over for them this Gen much like Sega i think.

I agree......do they make the games themsevles or just buy successful/hyped games. I don't think money is a problem for MS so I think it comes down to them wanting to sale their console using popular 3rd party titles (specially in Japan.....they just dont' seem to want to give up that market no matter the sales). The big benfit is it gets a lot public stories out that the PS3 is losing games and X360 is gaining......whether or not it's fair it will paint Sony in a negative light.
