Microsoft: "Xbox" is a platform now, not just a console.. Console sales don't matter, Xbox Live activity matters..

* In terms of gaming, God of War for the PS4 and Neo will come from the same PlayStation Store, using the same core OS, the same cloud saves, the same username log-in, the same online community, the same trophies, and will require the purchase of one single game that's playable on both.. the only difference is the hardware configurations..

You did read the thread title and the OP with a quote from Phil Spenser, right?.. "Xbox" is a platform now, not just a console..

Change is difficult for people to embrace, it takes time. PC Xbox players will not have to pay for MP but as I learned when I downloaded QB from W10 store, you will need to download the xbox app and create or sign in with an existing MS account.

The example made regarding the new God of War is a good one. If it is still considered an exclusive even though I wont need a PS4 Neo it is pretty much an exclusive on 2 platforms?

Well said. You're an idiot if you cant look at the consumer times and adjust. Only here in fantasy, fanboy ownage land does exclusive to one platform really matter.

In the real business world, MS realized we are massively bigger, and in more homes than Sony or Nintendo EVER will be through our Windows OS. So W10 store and Xbox is where you can buy our games, they decided. And those that cry and whimper about "true exclusives" are a dying breed because they were fooled into believing exclusives were ever more than about money.

PC GPU with R9-290X and GTX 970 or greater attach rates are terrible.

Tell that to the people who act like just any PC will run current gen games.

Windows 10 store DRM killed Windows clones projects like WINE on Linux X86-64. If WINE project attempts to crack Windows store DRM, they will be shut down.

Windows 10 was designed to kill WINE project competitors. Windows 10 exclusives will be be exclusives.
