Great score. Great game.
But I am not going to buy it.
And it isn't exclusive...unless Cows want to make PC/360 games MS exclusives.
It is System Wars not Company Wars.

Oh Microsoft released a new console called the Microsoft PC? Awesome, when did it come out
Do we consider Dead Rising on 360 AAE? I'm hearing two different answers from people, what's the final word on that? Broman6015
I don't make the rules here (Yet.......yet....) but I would still say Dead Rising is exclusive to the 360.
What about Alien Syndrome then? It was released on both Wii and PSP. So neither PS3 owners nor 360 owners can play it. Does that make it a Wii excliusive by SW rules?
Sure, the game got a 5.0 so nobody probably cares about it, but still, it's a matter of principles here :)

But why is DR exclusive still and this isnt? only differences are these: Wii version has worse graphics, less zombies, cant take photographs...but it has solid motion controls and a better save system. The game didnt "fundamentally change" as many lemmings are arguing here with MLB 09
depends if both games have substantial differences and wii is home of ports, I wouldn't be surprised if the game was a direct port :? You misunderstand, I also think MLB '09 should be considered exclusive as well. When the other versions score lower, MLB 09 will be EAAA - Exclusively AAA for the PS3. The wording changes the meaning while keeping the same impact.

So either MLB 09 is exclusive or Dead Rising is no longer exclusive in my book....lemmings cant have it both ways here

PC is an open platform. I guess Alan Wake is exclusive, because even though its being released on the PC and 360, its being developed for windows vista too not to mention M$ is the publisher and so they profit from it completely. There have been tons of games released for the PS3, PS2 and/or PSP as well as games released on the Wii and PS2 and/or PSP. Are those suddenly exclusives because one on the systems is older/handheld? No, because the core game is still the same. Are Wii games now exclusive because they have minigame modes or motion controls instead of dual analog? No, because the core game is still the same.
MLB: the Show is a great game. Congratulations to everyone that wants to play it, on whichever system you wish to play it on. Personally, I find yearly sports games and their rating kind of overdone.

All the Wii ps2 ports are virtually unchanged aside from a little waggle =\
LOL at all this stupid arguing over exclusive or not....Anyway gamespot nailed the score on this one. MLB 09 is by far the best baseball game made ever IMO. Chalk up another solid game for the PS3. PvtGump8

So what is it? Exclusive or not? Is the Ps2 version that different that it should be considered exclusive?killerfist
IDK, that's the real question and we will only know when people buy it for PS3 and PS2 (I highly doubt PSP is the same) or reviewers specifically address the topic.
So what is it? Exclusive or not? Is the Ps2 version that different that it should be considered exclusive?killerfistlook at the pic. ONLY ON PLAYSTATION ....hmmmm, im not so sure anymore, however if u want a baseball game, u could try mlb 2k9.....its literally half the game as mlb: the show

Of course its exclusive. Are you serious, its on a Sony Product, and not on a nintendo or microsoft Product. PC/360 games are not 360 exclusives. I don't need a 360 to play Alan Wake,Gears 1, Left 4 Dead, etc. However, to play the 9.0 version MLB, I need a PS3. To say otherwise would be like saying Kingdom Hearts chain of memories isn't a PS2 exclusive just because the gba version and it shares the same name.
LOL at cows suddenly having a hard time understanding what exclusive means. Sorry but if I want to play this game I could dust off my old ps2 , and everyone knows everyone has an old ps2 just like everyone has a gaming pc sound familiar cows. Now all of a sudden the same cows that pull that argument are suddenly not understanding what exclusive means how sad.

Let me ask you something in the "different versions" do you hit the ball, do you pitch the ball, do you field the ball, can you sub players, pitchers, etc yup seems the CORE gameplay is the same sorry multiplat.

Yah you could and I wouldn't care if you say it's multiplat so be it, that's one example and one of the few on the 360 side... Cows have been so adament since they all own gaming pc's anything on 360/pc is multiplat. And I find it funny since they are the ones that talk about this non stop , they suddenly find themselves on the other side of the argument and want to claim it's somehow someway different , it not get over it it's multiplat.

Its a game based on a professional sport. If i recall, pro sports rules dont change. You dont hit a ball one day then kick it the next. This is really a trick question and there's a fine line here with a sports title for that simple reason. The games are still exceptionally different.

I'm damn near sure all of those games are the same experience across PC and 360. with the exception being Gears of War on PC has an extra mission vs the Brumack.....

Interesting, I don't need a Microsoft Xbox, or a Microsoft Xbox 360 to play those games. I can play them on my PC.
