UPDATE!!! I googled proff and linkified it. There in fact will be TWO map packs at release. And if you think the link has no credibility then how about you try to find a Better one?

...Activision has brain-washed us all to think that Day 1 Map Packs are good, though they could just be Activisionemployees in the crowd or people from Microsoft.

It's like when people were cheering for the Hannah Montanna PSP during Sony's.

Its timed exclusive for the 360 version but I will be getting them for free on the pc version. SAGE_OF_FIRE

Aren't they also putting a subscription service on codmw2 as well? so not only the game (and $60 for pc too..highway robbery as it's not licensed to a console manufactor) and selling part of the multiplayer day1 for download, plus the sub service, and xbox - live (if you are on that side of the camp) horrible activision gets more repulsive every day. Screw that game man! It's the exact same thing as COD4! It's farking lame! All you do is press down L1 to position your cross hair and then R1 and the useless NPCs fall down like dominos. Another 5 hour campaign??? That's a joke. And so are these 1 Day Map Packs. PASSSSSS.

Day #1 map packs = milking! those maps should be in the game; there is no justifiable reason that states the developer has gone above and beyond the normal production of the game in making these maps. activision shows their greedy hand yet again and yet dumb consumers will just lap it up.
