PSN updates are werid. They can sometimes be late as 9. So its anyones guess when its going to update. I wish it would hurry up I wanna try the demo already.

Just played with Scorpion and Sub Zero, both good, but I think I might prefer Sub Zero, which is weird for me lol. I suck so bad :P. I need to practice when I get the game, or practice now before I get it lol. I wish I could play as reptile, as I will probably be getting the Amazon bonus.

Hey, you might be interested in this if you're liking Sub.

Best combo I've seen for him so far. The lead in move is - back + square, triangle, throw ice. Another useful starter for Sub is - triangle, square, throw ice.

Those are the two combo starters that really count imo.

Another great starter is to do an ice clone and then ex slide the opponent. If done right he will slide under them and then punch them back into the clone. :)

Very effective!

And if you havent figured it out already, most of the juggle combos require forward dash canceling.

Forward + circle, forward dash, square, square, forward dash, square, square, flip kick.

You can do many different variations of course, but that one is both easy and effective.

Also -triangle, square, forward + triangle, shadow kick- is very nice.

Cage is a BEAST in the corners btw.

How do you pull off the mid-air freeze punch with Sub-Zero ? its around 5 seconds into ^ that ^ video. Nonstop-Madness

The freeze punch only allows a very short term freeze, but you have the time to throw an ice ball immediately afterwards and catch them again.

Don't man. The game has an odd way of doing things. I recommend just trying out all the short combos they give you in the moves list. Some of the most important moves are simple 2, or 3 button combinations.

To me cage,millena and scorp felt easy to pull stuff off. Sub seemed like the only one thatseems difficultto pull something cool off and no thats not a pun. Also cages kick combo mixed with a ex shadow blade kick is pretty dam beast.

Oh, of course. I'm probably done with the demo for now though. I might start playing it again a few days before the game comes out. But considering how much fun I had with a four character, two stage demo, I would be a fool to miss out on the full game.

I really love it! I've cancelled my preorder though, seeing how much I enjoyed the game I can't get it so close to my exams. I'll get it after the 18th of may.

Great demo. Brought back a lot of memories, to say the least. A definite pick up at some point.

lol when playing the demo I feel like I will always suck, but I know that isnt the case. A lot of fighters give me that feeling at first, but with a lot of practice I can usually get pretty good. Soul Calibur II was my game when I played it alot :).

Why AA? This game is the respawn of the classics (first 3 of course) in the current generation. DONT WE ALL LOVE THAT??!!?sethman410

I am guessing AA although I think it has a good shot at AAA. That doesnt mean I think it will be an AA for me, just what GS gives it. I am guessing a 8.5 with a chance of 8.0 or 9.0. I think below an 8 and above a 9 is unlikely. For me I am seeing at least a 9.0 but I guess we will see.

Jesus, fantastic demo! Loved it...Played through Medium/Hard/Expert all the way to goro using Sub zero!

My only worry is it seems a little too easy at this stage. I think they said they are turning down the damage for xrays which would be good because right now if you land an Xray it does some serious DMG.

I dont know why they would turn down the x rays. The damage for it seems fine. Its the same thing as SSF4 ultras. Its meant to be a comback move but you risk your entier bar and they are blockable.

I like the fact that the gory fatalities are back! :twisted:
