Nice to see we are getting Rain , he's one of my favorite characters , can't wait to see his revamp.Skarlet also looks awesome to play with and has very fitting background story and techniques.I for one would like to see more than 4 characters , but since they said 'this summer' , one for each month I guess , I think there's still hope , oh and I really wouldn't mind smoke klassic costume and cyber smoke.Also i'd love that fourth character to be Tremor , what can i say , I love them ninjas lol.

Rain should be coming out the end of July, but hot damn - this game keeps getting better and better.

Have they finally fixed the lag on the PS3 version yet?

On the bright side I finished the tower and the final 'test your might' challenge was the hardest, by far. Now I just have to find those secret characters in ladder mode....Swift_Boss_A

I'm in the 190s on the tower. Making you fight all three Shokans in a row as f***ing Baraka has got to be the cruelest challenge so far...can't believe I did it.

Only if you didn't have to pay for them. Quite a few of the challenges are just duds that are not at all fun (like those ones where you're slowly given all your abilities back) so buying a pack of them would probably be a waste of money.

Maybe if it was 20 for $2, idk.

All his moves are there and his combos look great. Did not expect the water effects to be that beautiful.

I always considered Rain as one of the crummy Ninja characters introduced in MK3 but he has really been given a character now, and one with an amazing move list. Now his name actually makes sense since he actually uses water based attacks instead of just lightening like in MK3. Do want!

And I agree, Rain has an awesome and unique moveset that attributes to his name. He always had the water bubble, but the jet stream & water-teleport were from MK: Armageddon, they(NRS) updated them to be more menacing/cool.

Oh right, well I am not to familiar with him because I couldn't get over the fact he was a purple Ninja :P But this time I can since his costume has really improved.

So I was never into fighting games. I envied them alot. Well today I was at a friends house and he begged me to play MK9. I played as sub zero and I lost in a few seconds. Then I played as scorpion, then noob( I went for the cool looking characters). They all lost.. and I was about to rage quit. Then I picked Rain and.......OMG!! :lol: Finally I was owning! I'm so addicted to this game now because of Rain! AHh! :P

I love this game bu hate playing online. To many really good players. Unless you know you character to the tee you will lose. I fought this one guy and got one hit in, with my best character. It's single player for me.caseypayne69

Happens to me too. If i win say the 7th try they leave.

One time this guy walked me several times. Then we put on no blocks allowed code and i had Scorpion. I got a flawless one round.
