• Reduced some of Kung Lao's combo and overall damage.
• Reduced the damage on some special moves.
• Increased the damage scaling after Kitana's Enhanced ground fan toss.
• Adjusted some juggle's damage scaling.
• Reduced the damage on some basic combos that were doing too much damage without using any meter.
• Increased Sheeva's damage output for several of her moves and attacks.
• Temporarily Changed around some of Sonya's fighting style properties to reduce her ability to lock someone down in block stun.
• Changed Kano's Towards Front Kick to a low block.
• Reduced the recovery on Kano's Upball to be closer to Johnny Cage's Flip Kick recovery.
• Increased the damage of some of Baraka's special moves and attacks.
• It is easier to juggle combo after hitting someone with Baraka's chopchop on the ground.
• Increased the damage scaling on a frozen opponent.
• Baraka's Away Front Kick, Front Punch combo is now a true popup.
• Reduced some of Reptile's combo damage.

So they basically nerfed everyone slightly, with the exception of Baraka. Cool, I guess?

Kind of vague of listing "Reduced the damage on some basic combos that were doing too much damage without using any meter." NRS should list examples, or something.

*Facepalm* i kept telling my friends that i cant play online on Mortal Kombat due to PSN being still down but i just find out players that havent used up the online pass code can still play online as EA and Sony are allowing it till store goes back.. *goes to play online on MK*

You have to buy an online code if you get one used. Used games hurt developers, this is to make sure they can still get a profit.

The online is so laggy at times, but thankfully it's still playable.

My night went awfully well, I destroyed my friend in 14 of 16 matches and let him beat me without me touching him, I had to give him a free win.:P

I'm not even that good as I still haven't mastered the characters I want to main due to only playing it a few days a week(normally 3 days and such).

But srsly, you shouldn't sandbag. Make him have to learn how to play. Losing makes you win. Eventually. At least it'll make him understand something.

Ive played quite a lot of online fights and on a few occasions the matches were surprisingly lag free. No one can come close to me when Im Kratos, Sub zero and Kano, not too bad with Sonya and Kabal but I kick serious arse with the first 3 characters mentioned. Maybe if if the game wasn't region locked in online play I could give you guys first hand experience :P Seriously fix it boon and co, and the lag.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to fix lag. Its the reason why netplay is a joke to tourney/more serious players. And even if it seems there is no lag, there can still be some input delay. Having to play like your character is running in water is the worst, especially when you play a fast/mobile character. :(

The region lock, though, is stupid. No reason for ANY game to have it. EVER.

..and wait...its region locked for online play...wut...I cannot comprehend....:y

It's not really online lag that's a problem. It's the input delay. I hate when I press block and they don't block in time. mrmusicman247

oh gawd how I hate the input delays, especially when it seems like my opponent is playing with no problems and yet my attacks dont happen the exact time I ask for. I can see a match through to the end with lag but with input delays I have quit mid fight because it's so frustrating >_>

Mortal Kombat - Season Pass Announced for Xbox 360

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios are excited to announce the Mortal Kombat Season Pass which will offer Mortal Kombat fans an added incentive to buy all four new Add-on warriors at one time for a reduced price instead of when purchasing them individually. The first Mortal Kombat downloadable warrior, Skarlet, will be available for download starting June 21st and will be followed by Kenshi, Rain, and an unannounced new entrant to the Mortal Kombat tournament! Each warrior will come with a full move set, a ladder arcade story ending and two fatalities.

Available for purchase starting June 21st, the Mortal Kombat Season Pass will allow users to buy all four downloadable warriors as a package for 1200 Microsoft points. Each individual warrior can be purchased when they release for 400 Microsoft points. Each warrior will become unlocked for download as they become available throughout the summer.

Further, in order to allow for seamless online play with the new downloadable warriors, free compatibility packs will be required to download with the release of each new warrior. As an added incentive, each compatibility pack will come with two FREE klassic skins – the first of which are being released with Skarlet will be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 inspired Cyrax and Sektor. Gamers who purchase the Mortal Kombat Season Pass (or individual Add-on content) will automatically get the free klassic skins when they download each warrior. Those who do not purchase the Mortal Kombat Season Pass or the Add-ons, will be able to download the compatibility packs for free and have access to the klassic skins as well.

Please note: The Mortal Kombat Season Pass is only available for purchase on Microsoft's Xbox LIVE. PlayStation users will also have full access to the individual DLC warriors (for $4.99), the compatibility packs, and the FREE klassic skins.
