Yeah, 9.0 is still a great score, but I think it's the best game this generation. Now, I'm only judging from the beta, but I fully expect the retail product to go above and beyond what was in the beta, because there were only 3 MM-created levels, and you had a limit to what you could use to create levels. In the retail product, it'll have a lot more packed in, so I expect to be fully blown away.

UNDERRATED - METAL GEAR SOLID 4....JOKES.....i would have to say CRYSIS, honestly this game was soooooo much fun, considering i could max settings at a good resolution.

I have to agree with you there. I always forget to mention those two games. For some reason, the Tom Clancy games have left a bad taste in my mouth over the last few years. Conviction is the only game looking somewhat fresh, so I hope that turns out well and isn't watered down over its long development.

Most Overrated: Halo 3
-That game deserves an 8.5 at best.

Most Underrated: The Darkness
-Though it's short and linear, the graphics and story telling are incredible. Should have got a 9, IMO.

Well, Perfect Dark Zero.
Due to that score, I bought it at launch, and the whole time thought of how much better the LAST GEN FPS's really were. It was a very dissappointing title. for me.

Must underated? I say Marvel Vs. Capcom, but if we are just talking this gen, I guess Ratchet PS3.

By far the most overrated was Oblivion at 9.6. That was just wrong.Wasdie

The score would have been wrong if they switched the numbers around, it was more like a 6.9.

Didn't lock up on me, even with all the bugs I hear from it nothing has happened to me during that game. I dunno why you would want a dev team to go bankrupt but ok..

over rated= grand theft auto iv , for crist sake isnt a sequal supposed to be a big step forward, san andreas to iv , ,i dont know san andreas was bigger, better more customizable and it provided freedom ,,

gta 4 was garbage

PDZ deserved a 9 when it came out. It was a decent game and as a launch title where you don't have much to compare it to, it did deserve a 9. I know PGR3 and CoD2 were better games but maybe they were a little underrated. Just my .02 not fact of anything.AMitch24

I don't agree. COD2 owned all the other FPS's that year. There were better FPS's on Xbox and PS2 as well. It was a shoddy, awkward game, and one that all the other sites agreed, wasn't worth a "9."

In fact, after PDZ, Halo 2 became the most played 360 game on Xbox Live....AFTER PDZ made it's impact.

Basically, 360 owners would rather have played old, last gen game like Halo 2, than play or buy PDZ.

I bought TWO copies of PDZ, since I thought I was going to have some fun LAN parties with it (I own Two 360's.).

Laughably, COD2 became that game, along with Halo 2, Halo, etc.

Thank God for a Year later, Gears of War (GeoW). GeoW finally took the mantle from HALO2, as the most played game on 360 Xbox Live.

PDZ was a competent game, but very, very lackluster if you played FPS's since the early 90's.
