Gordon Freeman. And I'm glad I'm not the only person in the world who thinks this, because I was pretty sure I was. If he were really meant to be a "blank slate" as so many people claim, Valve would have done a better job not putting any image of him on the box or anything. Instead we get "Oh, Gordon Freeman's a great character because he's this scientist thrust into this perilous situation who manages to succeed despite overwhelming odds!" Really, what does his background even really matter to the character? It's not like this top physicist ever has to actually use his physics knowledge, outside of balance and weight puzzles which are taught in schools up and down the country with toilet roll middles and little weights and 1 metre rulers.Jonzey123
Some good points here. If he is meant to be a blank slate then don't give any info on him. We are told he is a medium for us to be immersed in the game but yet they show us what he looks like and give us all this histoory and background to him. So its almost impossible to feel like you are him
