MW2 terrorist massacre isn't as bad as some other games

I believe it can grow bigger after release, though, since I've heard from people whose friends have finished the game that this 'massacre episode' in the beginning of the game was utterly unnecessary and didn't add anything purposeful to the story line (that even if Infinity Ward skipped it, the player would have no problems playing it from the perspective of the story). I'm not sure, though. We'll have to wait to see what happens.

Does anyone know, though, for what reason you're shot in the head (in the video) after going on a rampage at that airport?

People getting upset about something like is pure foolishness . . . the same person who is mad will probably watch movies where they kill innocent people left and right, blow up towns or builiding with innocent people, or watch a Horror movie with nothing but ruthless massacare . . . not to mention, all of the people who bash MW2 probably own GTA 4, Fallout 3, Halo 3 (you can still kill your innocent partners), etc.

I can't believe people are offended by this. The son of a close family friend was killed in an NYC mugging a few years ago. When I play GTA4, i don't sob my eyes out every time i kill a civilian. I dont sit with a box of tissues as i drive down the sidewalk after drinking with Roman, thinking of all the tragic drunk driving accidents that claim thousands of lives each year. Why? Because i can move on, something people really need to learn to do. People die all the freaking time, yet somehow the world is still spinning. pis3rch

In GTA, the killing is comical, and it's punishable.

In MW2, it's realistic, it's provoking and IW wants you to do this. It's not as comical anymore.
