Ok i love to own cows and prove them wrong.the screens are doctored.. why? because they want to hide the jaggies,the low re textures and the pixelation.,and i have proofs since i have the original screens in 720p.

I personally dont care how good the game looks, if its not fun to play, and i get bored of it, i'm not gonna play the game. I already know gears gameplay, and i likeit, but from what i heard about KZ2 i cant say the samegohan_3

I'm in the same exact boat as you. Graphics especially in a FPS don't do it anymore. Especially when the bar is Crysis.

I gotta disagree with ya. They both look fantastic, but the detail on Killzone's just looks more realistic.

Well the first Killzone 2 shot is a tad shrunk down to have a good preportional comparison so the detail is a bit more crisp than it should be. Dispite that you can see there is more non-flat/bland areas on the character in the Gears shot.

They are hyping it because it looks good. Ive played many good sequels to bad games so I don't see a problem with being a little excited. Now hyping it AAA at this point before getting a bit more solid content though may be a little foolish.

For the people complaining about lack of colors, last time I checked war usually isnt very colorfull. The fact that this game takes place on a very polluted different planet warzone should make the colors chosen expected.

Eh thats not what I was trying to point out but whatever. It will have to wait till we got more content on Gears and Killzone. :P

Anyway my point of the first post I did was the fact that its hard to tell which one is better graphically. They have different art directions so I was pointing out the strengths of each game compared to the other and I still stand by them, even the character one.

Both have very different art directions making it pretty hard to have general visual comparison's; it will come down to nit picking actual textures and models to tell which one is actually better visually. Ive said this from the start though and as more content is being released it will only prove to be more true. Overall both will have their ups and downs so I think it will become very hard to say one is better looking than the other.

Anything can "look" a certain way. It looks very satisying and visceral to me. I jus hope they get the enemy layout, A.I., and mission objectives on point. That and bugs killed the first one. Actual shooting was very satisfying in the original.
