Yeah, its dull, but dull != bad graphics.

Gears of war is quite dull IMO (in a gritty awesome way), that's one of the reasons it kicks so much ass.

Wow Cows always hype graphics way to much, wait for the damn game to come out, I'm sick of hearing about it by now, so much hype around it, its crazy. If this don't get AAA wow this place will explode.With all that said I still can't wait to play this game, I am one of the very few who kinda liked the first one.

Right: 360 Gears 2

As you can see, Gears 2 destroys even the higher res PC version of Gears 1.

How?? Or is that just the cool thing to say now for lemmings? Since the color argument is now old since Gears2 looks even more bland than Killzone.

Killzone 2 looks EXACTLY like Killzone one in terms of what's going on, where you fight and so on. I played the first game and i was VERY boring. It was the same old, same old FPS stuff. The story was a snooze fest and I didn't really care at all for any of the playable characters. Thr online was also boring.

The question was how does Killzone look dull? Not if I played Gears. There is crap exploding everywhere, enemies, friendlies etc all in a battle that seems to be much bigger than yourself. How do lemmings honestly say thats dull? EmperorSupreme

I'm solely basing my opinion on KZ2 from my expierences with KZ which was dull. These incredible battlefield presentations you speak of are NOTHING I haven't already done 300 times in an FPS game already and since the first one was dreadful those scenarios do not excite me. Like I said though we will see what happens when it releases. Perhaps it will be much better then I'm expecting and I can ignore the fact that it has nothing new to bring to the table.

Well, if PS3 fanboys had not filled forums with the Killozne 2 graphics hype for more than a year now, would be cool, but given Gears 2 looks miles better and more advanced in graphics, i think there is a point to be made

Never hype a PS3 game is the point, for anything, and that clearly PS3 is an inferior in visuals machine

I have multiple times graphics wise, but gameplay wise I cant comment since I havent played either. From what Ive seen though they both look to be fun.

Gears will have more sales due to a larger base of system owners but who cares.

They made less then 2,000 to 4,000 Ford GT in the two years of its production but it is still better then any car that sells over 100,000 models a year. Quanity don't mean smack, remember Nintendo 64 slogin? Quality over quantity, in this case its Sony taking there time polishing this game instead of making two in the same time period hint hint Gears 1 and 2. Again Quality over Quantity.

Funnier? who knows really. High score? Hype only means so much.

Yep the graphics look good. But I am still disappointed with the lack of color in the game. A war does not change the color of the world, just the look (destroyed buildings, holes in the ground, bodies on the ground, ect. ect.).Bubblehash

But an industrious militaristic nazi based society on a WH40k styled death planet does.

Graphics winner: Killzone 2.

Everything else: GEoW 2.

For the people complaining about lack of colors, last time I checked war usually isnt very colorfull. The fact that this game takes place on a very polluted different planet warzone should make the colors chosen expected.
