Crytek is #1 graphics obsessed developers. So much that most people can't notice the boring gameplay of Crysis. Still, best graphics is best.

Digital Foundry:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-vs-halo-4
In an era where the likes of Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica have defined the graphical state-of-the-art with Uncharted and God of War, Xbox 360 finally has its own shot at the title343 Industries produced the most technologically advanced game ever made for Xbox 360
Digital Trends:
http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/halo-4-review-the-definition-of-playing-it-safe/
Halo 4 has some of the best graphics around, especially in the cinematics. There are a few moments that make you question if you are watching live action or CGI
Darkstation:
http://darkstation.com/reviews/xbox-360/halo-4/
Halo 4 has to be one of the most visually impressive console games to ever be released. Textures, faces, lighting, animation all blend seamlessly to create a near perfect visual masterpiece.
Games Beat:
http://venturebeat.com/2012/11/01/halo-4-is-the-next-chapter-not-the-next-evolution-review/
Halo 4s stunning visuals represent a quantum leap for the series and a serious bump on nearly any other game franchise youd care to name. This game is endlessly beautiful.
NZ Gamer:
http://nzgamer.com/x360/reviews/1768/halo-4.html
Visually, the game is a feast for the eyes. It looks, quite simply, like a next-generation game, leaps and bounds better than anything else on consoles today. If you've been gradually moving away from consoles, in favour of a high-specced PC, you absolutely must take a look at Halo 4 in motion.
Electronic Theatre:
http://electronictheatre.co.uk/xbox360/xbox360-in-depth-reviews/26792/electronic-theatre-in-depth-review-halo-4
Halo 4 is quite possibly the best looking videogame on current-generation hardware. The in-game visuals offer more details than the vast majority of videogame titles and the cut-scenes excel beyond anything fans of the series will be expecting.
Eurogamer Sweden:
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=sv&u=www.eurogamer.se/articles/2012-11-01-recension-halo-4
I found it difficult to believe my eyes during my journey through the exciting new campaign. Vissa miljöer är så detaljrika, högupplösta och pampiga att det är lätt att tro att det är en toppmodern speldator jag sitter och spelar på, inte en snart sju år gammal konsol. Some environments are so detailed, high-resolution and grand that it is easy to believe that it is a state of the art gaming computer I sit and play on, not a nearly seven-year-old bracket. Om Halo 4 inte belönas med en rad utmärkelser för sina grafiska prestationer vid årets slut kommer jag att bli mycket upprörd. If Halo 4 is not rewarded with a number of awards for its graphics performance at the end, I will be very upset.
ZTGameDomain:
http://www.ztgd.com/reviews/halo-4/
This is probably the best looking Xbox 360 game to date, and easily one of the best looking games this generation.
Daily Joypad:
http://www.dailyjoypad.co.uk/?p=43897
Halo 4 look absolutely delicious and like it belongs in 2012. Character models, environments (a number of the level backdrops in particular are stunning) and textures all look great and everything is crisper and more colourful than in past Halo titles. Truly jaw-dropping stuff.
Game Pandemic:
http://gamepandemic.webs.com/halo-4-review
Beyond the characters looking pretty damn photo-realistic, the environments look equally stunning. It's been far too long since Halo has held the graphical dominance over other hit shooters, but finally the king is back.
OXMUK:
http://www.oxm.co.uk/47230/reviews/halo-4-review/?page=1
The most beautiful shooter we've played. The proprietary engine powering it all leaves those of rival games for dust, including DICE's grubbily good-looking Battlefield 3. The lighting system in particular is a triumph, adroitly mingling natural light with the fizzling greens, whites and purples of energy bolts. Characters, weapons and vehicles, meanwhile, are so heavy with detail they look positively corroded. It's here that Microsoft's monstrous franchise investment is most apparent, and the results leave us not so much curious about as frankly terrified by the thought of what 343 can achieve on the next generation Xbox.
Tech Deville:
http://techdeville.com/2012/11/04/halo-4-review/
Furthermore, the character models and designs are astounding. Theyre possibly one of the best human designs Ive seen in video games, and thats saying a lot. Its not only the character models that are detailed though. The entire looks gorgeous. Everything is sharp and clear, the environments are radiant and the effects are eye-opening.
Destructoid:
http://www.destructoid.com/review-halo-4-233109.phtml
The visuals, lighting, and art direction are phenomenal too, adding tons of detail and pushing the Xbox 360 to points I haven't seen in any other game on the console. Comparing Halo 3's visuals to Halo 4's is night and day, to the point that the former looks last-gen in comparison.
IGN:
http://uk.ign.com/articles/2012/11/01/halo-4-review
Expect your jaw to drop at least once on every level of Halo 4s eight-mission campaign.Of course, gorgeous graphics are only one responsibility a consoles killer app must bear. Perhaps equal to Halo 4s monitor-melting visuals is its bar-none, best-in-class sound design.
Pocket-Lint:
http://www.pocket-lint.com/review/6041/halo-4-xbox-360-game-review
The graphics in Halo 4 deserve their own section, simply because they are so good. Here is a game which has come right at the end of a consoles lifespan and worked some black magic with the hardware. Like Forza Horizon, the game frequently forces a double take, where only upon closer scrutiny does it become apparent the title is running on the Xbox 360.
Videogamer:
http://www.videogamer.com/reviews/halo_4_review.html
The engine underpinning this grand exhibition has also been on the receiving end of some serious upgrades, its lines of code and script producing what will likely be the Xbox 360's most luscious visual spectacle.
Nowgamer:
http://www.nowgamer.com/xbox-360/xbox360-reviews/1658922/halo_4_review.html
Visually, Halo 4 is easily the best looking Halo game to date and it could be argued its one of the most technically impressive games of the year.
Xbox360Achievements:
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/halo-4/review/
Quite easily one of the best looking games on consoles with some of the most visually impressive cutscenes around to boot. Its a visual masterpiece, from the textures and particle effects to the ambience of the environments and the attention to detail.
Game revolution:
http://www.gamerevolution.com/review/halo-4
I also just need to take a minute and gush about this game's visuals. This is hands-down the most gorgeous game you'll find on the Xbox 360. Microsoft has made it clear that this is the most expensive game they've ever made and it shows in the production values. From Halo 4's jaw-dropping facial animations to its vibrant and super-detailed landscapes, this game is downright stunning.
Machinima:
http://www.insidegamingdaily.com/2012/11/01/halo-4-review/
What can I say about Halo 4 that hasnt already been seen? The visuals have been massively overhauled to make this the best looking Halo, if not the best looking 360 game to date..The new location of Requiem provides a compelling mix of location types familiar from other Halo titles, like jungles and deserts while adding new Forerunner settings that look absolutely stunning.
Metro Gamecentral:
http://www.metro.co.uk/tech/games/916636-halo-4-review-running-rampant
The graphics are by far the best the series has ever seen and such a massive leap on from Halo Reach it almost feels like its on a different console. The detail and lighting in particular are exemplary, and for the first time a Halo title is in the running for the best-looking game on the hardware.
Gamespot:
http://www.gamespot.com/halo-4/reviews/halo-4-review-6399288/
These galactic machinationsare brought to life vividly by Halo 4's stunning technical prowess. From sweeping panoramic vistas to claustrophobic jungle clearings, the environments are rich with detail enhanced by thoughtful lighting and sharp textures.
Dualshockers:
http://www.dualshockers.com/2012/11/01/review-halo-4/
Visually, Halo 4 is currently the best looking game on the Xbox 360, hands down. The games is so gorgeous that at certain points, especially when you initially explore the cliff sides of Requiem, the games vistas will stop you dead in your tracks. Honestly, its pretty amazing what the team at 343 Industries has managed to pull off with seven-year-old hardware. I really cant applaud them enough for what was done here.
Gametrailers:
http://www.gametrailers.com/reviews/3ypvhg/halo-4-review
Massive ships hover overhead as battles rage on the surface, all without any significant hit to performance. Scores of enemies juke, jive, dive, and return fire intelligently at every turn, but it's not just a technical marvel. The art is absolutely incredible, and a big part of the fun in playing the game is simply anticipating what eye-popping environment lies behind the next door or over the next vista. It simply never stops impressing.
Yahoo:
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/halo-4-review-343-industries-takes-on-bungie-xbox-series-with-great-success-01112012.html
As one of the best-looking blockbusters ever made Halo 4 is an utterly compelling experience.
Planet Xbox 360:
http://www.planetxbox360.com/article_22106/Halo_4_Review
Graphically, 343 manages to swing for the fences and they're right where they need to be before taking the franchise towards the next generation.
Gaming Nexus:
http://www.gamingnexus.com/Article/Halo-4/Item3735.aspx
you battle in spaces ranging from ancient Forerunner tombs to wide open landscapes; they all look great. That is because the visuals powering this game are among the best seen on the Xbox 360 to date. This game looks awesome.
StrategyInformer:
http://www.strategyinformer.com/xbox360/halo4/2049/review.html
Plus, it looks amazing. Say what you want about how old the 360 is as a console, 343 has taken both its engine and Microsofts hardware to the limit.
C. Code Central:
http://c****cc.com/xbox360/rev/halo4review2.html
Graphically, Halo 4 stands above all the rest. There were several moments where I found myself gawking at the realism of the character models. Couple this with the hardly noticeable difference between the cutscenes and the actual campaign graphics
SpazioGames:
http://www.spaziogames.it/recensioni_videogiochi/console_xbox360/13925/halo-4.aspx
Technically Halo 4 is majestic.
Vandal Online:

Halo 4 graphics are awesome and probably the most successful game for Xbox 360 in this regard.
The Globe and Mail:
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/technology/gaming/game-reviews/halo-4-a-great-game-series-extends-win-streak/article4810059/
The most noticeable thing about Halo 4 are its visuals. Halo 4 is a gorgeous game that at times transported me, or at least my imagination, to those alien worlds.
Game Planet:

As someone who often plays on a PC with graphics that put most console games to shame, this was one of those rare moments with my Xbox 360 that I just stopped and stared. Halo 4 looks incredible.
PC Authority:

It also looks amazing the quality of custscenes throughout the game is quite amazing. In fact, the games graphics in general are really quite stellar this one of the best Xbox games Ive ever seen.
Gaming Blend:

Requiem is home to every type of environment conceivable and all of them are jaw-dropping in detail.
GamrReview:
http://www.gamrreview.com/review/89451/halo-4
The game is both beautiful to look at and listen to. Graphically this is easily one of the most impressive games on the Xbox 360, and its both technically detailed and artistically gorgeous.
Thisisxbox:

Halo 4 is one of the most stunning, detailed and graphically superior games on the Xbox 360 right now. Its highly polished, exceptionally designed technological worlds with amazing lighting effects throughout.
NZherald:

Hardcore Gamer:

most of thats horsesh!t and those journalists must be easily impressed. maybe im just spoiled but halo 4s graphics are just "good" for a console game. some parts do look pretty good but it also has a ton of really low res textures and an awful amount of jaggies, and overall just a really blurry picture thanks to such a low resolution, the character models for some of the covenant also look fairly bad. I still think gears 3 and uncharted 3 better, however iv only played the first 4 missions but i doubt halo could show anything in the later levels that would impress me[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]Why is Steve Ballmer in Crysis 3?Skin Shader King. nunovlopes

True. Doesn't explain the suit thing though.
That looks so boring. What ever happened to the creative action of the first Crysis? I want to be able to punch explosive-rigged boats into a tin shack, then proceed to kill everyone with a heavy crate of ammo.

But yeah it feels like they keep going backwards with gameplay since Crysis 1.
At 4.12 he's kicking a machine that breaks and kills the enemy. I'm sure there will be C4 to rig objects if you want to. We can also play with different arrow heads, hack enemy gadgets, five different alien weapons, zip-lines etc. The new nanosuit means you can do all the moves on the fly which leads to much smoother gameplay than the old double tap melee to be able to jump BS of C1.That looks so boring. TW2 isn't even Dx11. If it was and had tesselated assets it would benefit a lot more. TW2s biggest help for great visuals is its lighting though

It looks better than Crysis 2; I'll give it that.
Still, the kicking will probably be slow and unreliable like in was in Crysis 2. I wish EA would get another dev to do more games similar to Warhead while Crytek wastes were time on this mediocrity excuse for a Crysis game.

It would of helped with optimization too, considering how rocky the game was it's a shame it had no DX11 tessellation, hopefully the RED Engine has native DX11 support because seriously having a high end game on DX9 only in 2014 is just sad.

I think you are being kind of unreasonable. The core mechanics improved a lot from 1 to 2 and now it looks like they are doing some further tweaking. Only thing that 1 really did better than 2 was the bigger levels (AI was kind of bad in both, but was buggier in 2 for me). Now that is a big deal as it changes the way the game plays a lot. So all things considered I def prefer 1+Warhead over 2. But 2 plays much smoother while at the same time having more options and customization.[QUOTE="UnrealLegend"][QUOTE="Ucasuals"]
