Looks great. I loved Crysis 2, so I will probably enjoy this as well.

[QUOTE="ms555"]It probably will be graphics king, but for now im gonna make a crazy claim and say Halo 4 is graphics king for consoleskhoofia_pikaI'd say Uncharted 3 still looks better, but Halo 4 is definitely the graphics king for the 360.
From what I have seen Halo 4 is definitely not consoles graphics king. Someone link me to a good video please, cause I don't even think its 360 graphics king.
As for Crysis 2, it is quite nice looking, but as for gameplay, that remains to be seen.
I like the part where bullets go through thinner material and daylight shows through. I guess watchtowers and shacks (like in the first Crysis) won't afford any protection now.

There are too many contenders, this late in the gen, so it's a matter of opinion. Here's a bit of Reclaimer level, my personal favourite (spoilers obviously):

[QUOTE="UnrealLegend"]At 4.12 he's kicking a machine that breaks and kills the enemy. I'm sure there will be C4 to rig objects if you want to. We can also play with different arrow heads, hack enemy gadgets, five different alien weapons, zip-lines etc. The new nanosuit means you can do all the moves on the fly which leads to much smoother gameplay than the old double tap melee to be able to jump BS of C1.That looks so boring. What ever happened to the creative action of the first Crysis? I want to be able to punch explosive-rigged boats into a tin shack, then proceed to kill everyone with a heavy crate of ammo.
Sushiglutton
That is pretty much BS sir
Can you do this on C2?
Yeah, I didn't think so. Smoother gameplay my arse.

Cloak, jumping, melee, cars and grenades are all in Crysis 2.Gunplay looks too consoly - designed for people who can't aim. Spray everywhere, no recoil, player can take loads of damage (hoping they were on easy).
Hopefully it's more like Crysis than Crysis 2, which was horrible imo

I'd say Halo 4 is pretty damn close.

TW2 isn't even Dx11. If it was and had tesselated assets it would benefit a lot more. TW2s biggest help for great visuals is its lighting though
It would of helped with optimization too, considering how rocky the game was it's a shame it had no DX11 tessellation, hopefully the RED Engine has native DX11 support because seriously having a high end game on DX9 only in 2014 is just sad.
Interesting to see if the REDkit mod tools support it too.
If I play it, it will be on a computer. Crysis 2 looks messy on consoles.freedomfreak
It did on PC too but Dx11 helped it a lot. Still though it can be really hazy and blurry at times on PC.

The console version felt like they were pushing things. It looked so inconsistent. That's also how I feel of BF3 on consoles.[QUOTE="LookAnDrolL"][QUOTE="Sushiglutton"] At 4.12 he's kicking a machine that breaks and kills the enemy. Cloak, jumping, melee, cars and grenades are all in Crysis 2.with next to zero destruction, linear corridor levels, and barely any room for tactics

The core mechanics improved a lot from 1 to 2 and now it looks like they are doing some further tweaking. Only thing that 1 really did better than 2 was the bigger levels (AI was kind of bad in both, but was buggier in 2 for me). Now that is a big deal as it changes the way the game plays a lot. So all things considered I def prefer 1+Warhead over 2. But 2 plays much smoother while at the same time having more options and customization.Sushiglutton

True. Although Forza Horizon was a nice surprise. Clever programming.2013 Graphics King will be either The Last of Us or God of War Acension.
ShadowMoses900
Lol no, current gen consoles will be old news, next year.
Not only there will be many heavy PC games like Rome 2, Cryis 3, Batthefield 4, etc, we will also have (most likelly) the next gen consoles with their launch library.
This thread makes me want to play Crysis again.
kraken2109
I kept uninstalling Crysis (after I'm done) and then reinstalling it repeatedly that I decided to just finally leave it on the hard drive

Cloak, jumping, melee, cars and grenades are all in Crysis 2.Yeah and in both games guns go PEW PEW when you shoot em
Are you for real?? Have you even play Crysis? you cannnot make that jump in C2, since strength mode is abscent in nanosuit 2.0 (More like nanosuit 0.5)
Also, in C2 maps are so tiny that patrolling vehicles do not exist; and even if they were there, the so called verticality, doesn't allow you to do it
Try watching it again, here

Allready covered the level size several times in this thread. You can still make super jumps even if they are not connected to the strength mode anymore (you can also kick and throw enemies far if you want). There is nothing in the gameplay mechanics that's prevents you from doing what is shown in that video. Why are you making things up? You cannot do that in C2, the "strength jump" does NOT allow you to jump as high
C2 is a massive step back in gameplay, so one last time, watch that gameplay footage, there no chance you can do the things that C1 allows you to do in C2. The game is not only more linear but more restricted in many ways.
