OK Witcher 2 is officialy the:

1. dwarf beard king

2. Army camp king

3. otudoor foresty tavern king

Really this game is exemplary in BOTH artistic direction and technical execution. It's a gorgeous engine.

It helps, of course, when the characters themselves look the part. And in The Witcher 2: Assasssins of Kings, they very much do. A lot of care has been lavished on designing Temeria, along with the various denizens that inhabit it. My hour-long exploration of the Dwarven city of Vergan and the forest surrounding it clearly demonstrated that CD Projekt want their game to look as good as they can possibly make it. The wooded scenes are stunning, especially at sunset, when the sun's dying rays filter through the branches in a honey-rich display of specular lighting.

Check the screenshots. These aren't doctored images, the game really does look this good. When quizzed about whether they'd consider porting Witcher 2 to console, the answer was pretty resolute: "We're making a PC game. We're making the best PC game we can."

The graphics are so good that some peoples think that those are bullshots. The PC hardware has evolved quite a bit since the consoles launched. I guess you underestimate the power of i7+580gtx.

Agreed, they've been touched up. Even so, the game looks amazing in motion, and those shots aren't far from the truth.

I'm saying that I haven't seen much about the game other than graphics. It's all everyone's hyping here. I know it starts in 3 different ways or so, but not much else.

There are plenty of developer diaries outlining their approaches to the non-linear story, questing, how hunting in the world will work, how lore will affect your options when dealing with creatures, etc. You could always check those out.

Admittedly, they are being rather tight-lipped about the overall plot, but I'm personally fine with that. The less they spoil, the better.

Very reasonable for the eyecandy we've been seeing.
