When MS releases a game either visually on par, or better, than the current best looking PS3 game at the time. I won't say the 360 CAN'T do it, but it's yet to happen is all.xYamatox

I dont know what 360 needs to do more to destroy that "not as capable as PS3" myth. I mean, Red Dead Redemption is technically more impressive than anything on consoles. It mixes an immense world with incredible vistas, physics, dinamic weather, dimanic shadows, no loadings, dozens of NPCs, etc, and 360 runs it perfectly.

If a game can prove 360 graphics are underhyped/rated arround these boards, that game is red Dead Redemption imo.

After I responded to this statement I walked away and thought, wait Gears 2 with a $12 million budget already dispelled that myth by matching or beating PS3's $45 million monster, MGS4 in gfx. I was too lazy to walk back to my comp and type it though.

I think they're about equal, with the PS3 being a little more powerful, but the guy who created the Cell CPU, Cevat from Crytek, John Carmack, and Gabe Newell all have gone on the record saying they're about equal.

Sony 1st party cooperation and massive buckets of cash have been the difference, though.

I'm pretty excited that KZ3 is going towards a bunch of various places. reallllyyy strectching the color palette will truly make the game's graphics shine.

Of course, i still think that the multiplayer needs some work. Fix the snipers, create better maps, and some other gameplay changes are definately needed in order to make this game last far beyond release. KZ2 lost a lot of players after only about a month of the game being out...so i think the making the game a little less hardcore will really be great for the community.

Pre-alpha..alphalpha..whatever. These are not impressive to me. Sure it looks decent but NOT OMG THE GRAPHICS KING SECOND COMING...HOLY CRAP ...WOW CRYSIS IS OWNED kind of graphics. I saw some recent shots of Gears 3 and honestly those shots make these shots look bad. Look at the ground textures...yuck. Seriously cows need to derail the hype train before it leaves the station. Please stop. The only impressive thing in these shots are the character models and even then I wouldn't get that crazy. April 2011 can't come soon enough because I think Gears 3 will have no problem topping thisgame. All I ask Guerilla to do for me is to fix the damn controls.

Please stop drinking the kool-aid and just leave the hype train in the station. Honestly you cows always do this: Hyping PS3 exclusives into oblivion when it clearly isn't warranted. I'm not saying the games look bad. They look very good but not crazy good where you guys make them out to be untouchable.

By the way you shouldn't place any bets because Gears 3 will be released in the same month as this game and while they both will be the two most graphically impressive games for that month (or year) I still think the final polish for Gears 3 will beat this game.

Waiting for the direct feed gameplay footage. I wonder how it compares to Crysis 2. That GTTV video was a bit disappointing, so I am looking forward to KZ3 putting the console versions of C2 to shame. :P

I remember when people claimed the 360 could never do MGS4 level gfx. GeOW 2 proved otherwise.

Then it became 360 can never do KZ2 level gfx. Reach, Crysis 2, and GeOW 3 are already showing otherwise.

It will never end because cows are honestly deep down insecure about the ps3 (ex: multiplat titles, etc..) and need exclusives to shine in order for them to feel good about something they can hold onto to justify their purchase. As I've said before the exclusives look good and can actually be fun (except KZ2 for me which had broken controls) but the crazy hype these games receive are not justified. They are good games just not the second coming as many cows would have people believe.

Gears 3 looks good but a bit too similar to the other games on the market. KZ3 on the other hand has some pretty sick shaders that make the whole game look like it's some painted artwork.

I thought just the opposite. Aside from the initial snow trooper helgast pic, it looks like they haven't added extra layers of polish yet.

Anyway, both games will looks awesome, and I'm sure better than anything out right now. Too early to call at this point. Obviously.:)

Yeah, Bus-A-Bus and I were saying the same thing. The DoF and tone of the lighting are very similar.

That's a good thing though, Uncharted 2 has incredible gfx. I like how it doesn't go for pure photo-realism. Love the color.
