Really, the only reason NG2 is going to the PS3 is because Tecmo lost it's lead developer. There milking the franchise as much as possible. When Itagaki left he took most of Team Ninja with him. So Tecmo isn't in position to make a new ip easily.:(

Umm most of the core Team Ninja staff left with Itakagi and are already in the process of creating a new game for the 360.

Umm most of the core Team Ninja staff left with Itakagi and are already in the process of creating a new game for the 360.

so 11 months later...

Sigma 2 is stated to be released September 29 2009

15 months after 2...

4 months is not that big of a difference. And its not like within the past 15 months someone untapped the hidden power of the PS3!

Again without any evidence your statements mean nothing. To me they are nothing but rumors or just false statements. The only link you provided had RUMOR stampted right in the title. Now, Even if he's gone...which you have yet to prove. Its not like the series is weakening(At least Sigma). The first Sigma game was good enough to score a 9.0 here on GS(see earlier link) and a 9.3 on IGN. All while NG2, you know the game the A-team worked on only scored a 8.0 here(see earlier links) and a 8.7 on IGN. Of couse its not Ninja Gaiden 2 wasnt bad but if you are going to point fingers and claim they had the "A" team check your sources and introduce some valid facts. Im practiclly begging you to own me here and you can't even provide a single comback. I might as well start ranting about how Mass Effect is moving to the PS3, at the rate you guys are going I might get away with it. :P

Lol idk man he's a weird dude.

Wow thats a huge difference. Honestly I can't wait the more I hear and see about this game the more I want to play it. Not to mention coop will be awesome, always wanted a solid coop hack and slash and now we get it.

NG2 was rushed. Itagaki & company were having problems with tecmo. We were lucky to get the game at all. All the B team is doing improving on the original titles which isn't hard to do at all. Please do some research before you post.

If it took 15months to just add some features i cant wait to see what the "new" team ninja team is gonna do since now they have to recreate everything from gameplay, story, graphics, and other features.

A ninja game with purple blood is just completely stupid, I dare any other ninja game to come out with purple blood and not get trashed. It's not canon shown clearly in NG2, ninja are made of flesh and blood. Itagaki would've never allowed that to happen.

because the game will be released aprox 1 year and 1/2 later. also when comparing pics put 2 picture that are in same place. ur picture came from kotaku a ps3 fanboy site it fails. tho i have to admit i like the new ayane more than the older 1.

I just read the IGN preview, and i wasnt really impressed, and that blue blood was actually very odd imo. I guess because i played the game over a year ago it doesnt really impress me as much.

NG 2's graphics were noticibly muddy when I played it, I like the improvements.

I'm getting both versions in the future. I found the original Sigma's levels a little bit off compared to the remade sections, and it kinda looks like it's going to be the same here.

While NG2 wasn't all that polished, i'm pretty sure Itagaki omitted features for certain reasons. I want to talk about the co-op in this light. I don't know about other people, but as a NG fan, I've never felt co-op was an essential, much less highly sought after feature for Ninja Gaiden. I always felt Ninja Gaiden was a game that hailed back to the old school arcade vibe where you're out to beat the leaderboards while not getting obliterated in the process; it would not be the game that includes 16-player deathmatch or any other "standard" feature in current-gen video games.

So with Itagaki out of Tecmo's way, they've managed to include co-op oh-so effortlessly. Honestly, it looks tacked on to me. Looks mad fun to the casual gamer or even slight action fan, but meh, doesn't look like it's totally mindblowing. I think the only reason I'm going to get this game is because of Ayane and Momiji i.e purely in canonical interest. No doubt my brother will dig it for the co-op stuff though.

Obviously at the time they weren't aiming for that level of graphics or art direction in Ninja Gaiden 2, it could easily done on the XBOX360.

What you on about? Thats not even blood, thats purple Aura :| as in the sense the soul comes out of the body, and if you wanna talk about purple blood, itagaki already added a varation of colours to blood in NG1 and NG2 with the bogey green blood.

i believe NGS2 is far better than NG2 in almost every aspect, but those pics only shows different models for the same character, they dun prove anything.

btw who else feels that GS is biased against this game, in their latest preview, they made me feel that the ovelall quality of the game is exactly on the par wz NG2, like there is no key improvements?????????
