[QUOTE="blahzor"]If all you care about is playing great games the answer is DS lite. It's $130 or something, less used. It's also a great time to jump into the DS, as a significant portion of it's awesome games are 10-20 dollars. It really is a fantastic gaming device with some games that, imho, stand up to anything consoles have been giving us this gen.
oh, but out of the DSi and Ipod touch i'd go DSi for sure. Heck, i'm thinking of getting a DSi over an ipod/iphone and i already have 2 lites - one is the zelda special edition :)

Well the reason I was considering the DSi as opposed to the DS Lite is because of the DSi ware, which I assume only work on the DSi.That's true, however with the DSi you lose GBA backwards compatibility - it's also worth noting again that the DSlite would save you a decent amount of money.
Though, if you don't care about GBA compatibility and are interested in DSiware, the DSi is still an amazing machine. Personally, i don't think DSiware has developed enough to warrant the higher price.. but, then again, there are still some great things on it and there could be a bright future in store for it. Either way, go DS over ipod touch.
