No other system can handle MGS4

that's why high specs and techs are about making you have interest in the game. but they're not a guarantee you'll be interested in anything, like the motion sensing gameplay doesn't secure a 100% appeal for every Wii game.

So how far is FFXIII in development? That new trailer was pretty much recycled since 2006, with a few new CGI scenes.

Square had to obviously consider 360 in its development. So yes, 360 will hinder the final product... thanks for pointing that out.

There's absolutely nothing that rivals MGS4 when it comes to visuals, especially consider the size of the game.

Sure, fanboys can find a bad screenshot here and there, but that simply doesn't change what it is: the best there is on consoles.

You can pretty much find a quote in EVERY single credible review out there that will tell you exactly what I just explained... INCLUDING GAMESPOT AND IGN.

Fanboys will simply never learn I guess. Keep posting them screenshots... you'll just end up wasting your time trying to justify being a fanboy.

MGS fight be the best looking game on the PS3 but it can't hold a candle to Crysis.

Gameplay and story wise MGS is a classic however.

I think the Wii could handle it if Konami put some effort into it, because Mario Galaxy's graphics are pretty much on par with MGS4.XenoNinja

Crysis annihilates it beyond belief! its easily EASILY doing 10x more calculations on all fronts, MGS4 is more last-gen than now-gen...Crysis is next-gen and alone in that category by lightyears! Even Far Cry is doing way more

That was my point. He has said it coul'd easily be done on the 360. So obviously it can easlily be done on the PC. And cows are in denial if they think it can't be done.

The only reason i can see a game like MGS4 not comming out on 360 is because it isn't planned. Unless MGS4 is badly coded, the 360 should be able to run it based on what we have seen from other games on the system so far. In it's current form a few bits of voice acting would need to be changed and the game would have to be on multiple discs but im sure its entirely possible.

You've missed the sarcasm.

There was a 360 gameplay vid of Farcry2 a while back, and to me it looked a lot nicer than MGS4. Them not being able to fit the game on DVD I don't believe for one second, compress the audio, use multiple dvds if it's alinear game and so on, where there's will there's a way.

Good point. I hadn't checked out prices in a while and a BR player will cost me $146.99 and a burner $284.99 (CAD).

Absolutely. Most sensible post in the thread. Anyone who is nto a fanboy will see there is virtually no difference in the multiplats. One system has a better version of a multiplat then the next will be better on the other. Even the exclusives, the level of textures, lighting and number of polygons are roughly comparable. The PS3 and the XBox 360 are more evenly matched this generation than the Xbox and PS2 were last generation. A lot of you fanboys really need to take a step back and see this.

I mean, look at the resolutions of the games coming out. Both are struggling to do 720p let alone 1080p. Many games have been released at 620p, 600p and 575p! Now if one was significantly stronger than the other then you wouldn't be getting releases like this with the same gimped resolution on both systems.

...and of course a half decent PC liek mine would run MGS4 hugely better than the PS3 :lol:
