[QUOTE="Darth_DuMas"]Even that can be achieved on the PC. BluRay is not necessary for lossless audio. Just install FLAC-compressed or some other type of audio format with lossless compression, and the PC can play sounds just as hard as a PS3.lol, using Game as a credible source, they suck as a UK chain store too. You can count on them to write rubbish and take PR qoutes too seriously.
All they said was "because of blu ray" (after you take the rubbish from around that quote). Not exactly news is it.
I thought this would be some fanboy arguement trying to convince everyone that it wouldn't work on the 360 or PC because of teh mighty Cell processor.
Edit: I think if MGS4 was ever ported to the PC for example, the only benefit the PS3 version would keep would be the uncompressed audio if it uses this. Which you would need blu-ray for.

True :) didn't consider that.
THATS great. PC Does have a bluray drive .. alrite, go pop in MGS4 into your drive and see if ur PC runs it.
anyway do YOU really own a bluray drive ... a pic with your nick pls, not one ripped off the net.

Sorry, I think you're missing the point here, so I'll re explain it. The TC made out that no other 'system' could 'handle' MGS4. He was making a 'what if' judgement that no other hardware is capable of running a game like MGS4. Now, this is just not true wouldn't you say? Knowing that PCs have superior CPUs, massively superior GPUs, they can also incorperate a blu-ray drive, they have much much more ram, would you say a PC would run MGS4? I mean I don't know how to explain this in simpler terms to you cows lol.
