A low-end PC (3800+ and a 7900GT) would be able to run an enhanced MGS4 version at 1280x720 or higher resolution with better graphcis at 30-60fps. beats the sub-HD PS3 version that runs at 1158x665p (1024x768 4:3)

well it was made specifically for the ps3 so...

why do you think multiplats are better on 360? they're made on the 360 and the ps3 "can't handle them" because they're made on 360. it's just the way different machines work.

Actually it is more like a custom 7800GTX, the 7900s were a more refined version that came out long after the hardware in the PS3 was finalized.

Edit: I think if MGS4 was ever ported to the PC for example, the only benefit the PS3 version would keep would be the uncompressed audio if it uses this. Which you would need blu-ray for.

And.....No other system can handle the PC. MGS4 will become easier to handle with the PC and will have better graphic quality. Speaking of graphics, can't the Plague Station 3 do any better right now aside from being the cheapest blu-ray player? :lol:
