[QUOTE="TemplaerDude"][QUOTE="InsaneBasura"][QUOTE="TemplaerDude"][QUOTE="InsaneBasura"]Yeah, graphics graphics graphics, graphics graphics.... Audio is pretty important in this game. You need a decent solution for this. 2.0 speakers is gonna poop on the game's audio design.

You realize PC gamers also have PC gamer sound cards with 7.1 sound usually?
Yes. I'm not sure how many actually take advantage of their sound cards though. Usually there's no practical way of placing 5-7 speakers and a sub around a desk. For most people a decent set of headphones would probably be a better solution.
You realize PC gamers have PC gamers sound cards for a reason right?
It may be impractical for you, maybe your lazy I don't know, but anyone can hang 7 speakers anywhere.
You don't build a machine capable of playing Bioshock with 7.1 sound and then use headphones.
I have a corner desk. It's obviously highly dependant on where your PC is placed and the layout of the room etc. If you have the money, will and possibility to set something up then neato, but I kinda doubt the majority does. As mentioned you'd also need a decent sound card and actual speakers. The impression I get is that people often overlook the importance of a decent sound setup. In a game like Bioshock it's really important. All I did was try and make people realize that. So I don't get the hostility.
Uhm does the majority mean who you know or what? I have a nice 5.1 setup in my computer room, as does piles of other people, as shown in [h]ardocp, and other forums.
