IGN was talking about the technical lvl, artistically BioShock makes Gears looks last-gen.

If Bioshock hits 8.5 on GS, many people will hate GS for flopping yet another hybrid FPS, there will be many suicide threads, and everything else will blow up. It would be similar to TP.

Me, I'll wait for the end of the year to see if Bioshock would get GOTY, thus completing the second half of my prediction. And while I'm at it, play Bioshock and Metroid Prime 3.

What!? They said the graphics weren't as impressive as GeoW!? From what I've seen, Bioshock looks much better than Gears, thanks to a wider variety of colours other than red, brown, yellow, and in one part green. Even if they were talking technically, I'd disagree.

honesty i had been thinking bioshock would get an 8.5 for a while now, system shock 2 only got an 8.5 at gs and jeff is hard on games

the demo was great fun, the game feels a lot like a resident evil/metriod hybrid with one of the best enviorments ever made for a game

Well it would be a lot cheaper than upgrading your PC and then you play other titles like Mass Effect and Halo 3.

It's like star wars, dark and light side. Will you kill, or save? Choices like that also help to increase replayability.

He is right though. I mean we all want to talk about Bioshock, but our hands are tied here. Casey needs to lighten up and give the people what they want. This happens with every hot game. You can talk about it anywhere but system wars. The moderators are just a little too trigger happy here.

Guess I'll just have to wait until Casey lifts the ban. This game is looking like it is going to be hard to beat for GOTY. 99 at meta critic OMG!

The 360 version of Bioshock has a 99 on metacritic.com right now, which I've never seen before, not even with movies (which tend to get higher scores on the site by default). Completely ridiculous. Ironically enough, guess who the lowest score is from right now? From Team Xbox, those bastards, who underrated Bioshock heavily and gave it a 95. Almost everyone else gave it 100.

I like metacritic more than gamerankings because they have blurbs (mini-summarizations) from all of the reviews listed on the page. Under the reviews for the PC version of Bioshock they have this excellent blurb from Eurogamer's review, which seems to sum up the game perfectly:

I agree. I've asked questions in the stickied Bioshock thread on the 360 forums and no one has probably even read them. No one wants to sift through 600 posts to read or initiate intelligent discussion, and that's what these sticky threads do. It's too bad, but I guess that's how it's going to stay. The mods think they are helping by doing this. While I agree 5 Bioshock threads a second could get annoying, at least a few of them would be open for intelligent debate.

And, sure, I could go to the Gamespot/Gamefaqs Bioshock board, but a lot of people there are being retarded and posting spoilers everywhere, so I'd rather not go there.

Bioshock CANNOT get a perfect 10 due to lack of multiplayer, AAAA games are meant to be perfect in every way and the only way this game can be perfect is if it has multiplayer. My prediction is that it gets 9.5 on GS.

The new 10 does not say "Perfect". It says "Prime". Check it.

After watch the IGN video review I think it's far to say this:

So no game can ever get a perfect 10 at GS again. That makes those scores all that much more special. Except THPS 3, that's just stupid.
