It won't get docked for not having online, because it's not the type of game that online works for. It won't get docked just like Resident Evil, Final Fantasy and Ninja Gaided don't get docked. don't worry about it not having online.

just gotta be real. If there's one thing EA understands, it's "profit".

Why not ride the wave of Bioshock success and abuse the System Shock brand? At mimum, I can see a re-release of System Shock 2 with the graphics engine totally retuned. Might not be a bad thing...but EA will do more...probably to its detrement.

Do you think that'll be today as in the next few hours, or sometime in the afternoon? I already have the 360 demo but I've only played it once, and I'd like to play the PC demo to see how it runs on my comp (which should be very well at max settings) and how much of a graphical bump the PC version has. Especially since I'm gonna end up getting the PC version.

I did. Just been looking for news on the PC demo for days. Couldn't find it, so out of sheer desperation I decided to drop by SW for some credible information (see how desperate I am?)

Saw that fileplanet will be hosting it as soon as it's released, but if XBL is any indication of how hot this stuff's gonna be, then it'll take forever if I qeue up on Fileplanet. Been looking for alternative download sites ever since.

Well, I should calm myself down *whimper*. Anyway yeah, thinking realistically EA will definitely do something with System Shock license especially with Bioshock recieving praise but hopefully they wontbe lackadaisical with System Shock 3.

On another note, Jeff is playing through Bioshock right now. He's committed to giving us the review as early as possible.

Yeah, just read it. Man that guy's got issues. I thnk video games are conservative enough as it is.

I don't see how someone wouldn't be able to hack that, ultimately, if you're actually downloading the entire game. But Steam is pretty tough, I guess.

Heard there might not be a pc demo because 2k dont want ppl getting hold of a .exe and then cracking it to work with the full PC version which ppl have but cant play because it does not have an exe.

I hope this is not the case.

It stinks for both the forum regulars and the mods but thats life i guess.

IGN gave BioShock a 9.7 and makes it the highest rated 360 game. wow I never thouight this game would be so good.

i'm about an hour and a half into the game and i have to say this game, so far, is everything i thought it would be and lives up to all the hype. it's just an all round fantastic game that i think will have a very good shot at getting a 10 here. for everyone that liked the demo you will love the game because it only gets better.ItalStallion777

Even if GS gives it a 8.0 or something, let's not jump down their throats o r threaten them or boycott them. With so many 10's and high 9 scores, we could live with one small deviation from the pack, even if it's GS.

(In other words I dont want people to imitate what happened when Twilight Princess got 8.9 here. That response is the last thing I want)
