I'm guessing nintendo saved some consoles for next month or shifted more support to Japan. Congrats to the PS3 beating 360 even though nothing really did that well at least it didn't do the worst.

Edit : oh yea this is for January. I guess Nintendo gave it all they got in December and were supply constrained.

On topic, I'm impressed. Maybe the PS3 might actually get second place in the console war and if Sony continues making the PS3 a "must buy," maybe it might outsell the Wii. I doubt it will happen though.

As for software sales, looks like the 360 wins, the Wii has the majority, and only one PS3 games is in that list. Not surprising though.

Wow! PS3 outsold the 360! I thought it would be more like they wer tied, but wow PS3 is making a HUGE comeback! 2008 = PS3's year!
