After watching the Apple presentation I am underwhelmed by the Sony one so far. I'm not sure why, no audience applause/participation?

I want to know if it RENDERS games at 4K or is it an upscaling algorithm. They are talking a lot about upscaling technology but havent said it was capable of rendering natively
