[QUOTE="zzzaaa"]Am I the only one who thought Halo 3 didnt look all that great?Teufelhuhn
I actually thought it looked pretty cool, for once. Couldn't tell what the graphics were like though, GS feed was way too blurry.
Bungie.net has a high rez version for download. Looks awesome IMO.
[QUOTE="Tylendal"]They almost had me going for a minute with their "New controller" line. Then when I actually saw it, I thought to myself 'Do they have the gall to rip off the Wii-mote this blaitently' Then when they actually explained what it was, it was sort of a 'Oh, that's pointless'.PBSnipesYou have to admit though it is kinda cool how they're including all 4 controllers in each copy of SceneIt for the same price as a regular 360 game. Hopefully they bring back You Don't Know Jack.
I don't think Scene It is worth the price of a full 360 game to be honest.
It was dissapointing at best.
When they eventually came to a part that caught my attention (Gears), they didn't reveal enough about it. It rises more questions then answers. For instance:
- Will the new content in Gears be downloadable through the XBL Marketplace?
- What is the new game mode?
- What are the new maps?
slothboyadvance
I think the new mode is the Level editor, the new map I guess they were talking about the new chapter 6 but yeah that first one is still an incognito.
[QUOTE="Hoffgod"][QUOTE="PBSnipes"]I don't think Nintendo will be much better, they seem to focus on TGS over E3 anyway.PBSnipesWhat? No. Nintendo has never been a large part of TGS. Ever. Only time I can think of Nintendo ever doing anything with TGS was the Iwata keynote in 2005. And that was all Nintendo did at TGS 2005. No demos, no booth, nothing. E3 is huge for Nintendo. I expect them to come out full force tomorrow. Maybe my memory's a little rusty, but for whatever reason I remember hearing alot more about the Wii at TGS than E3, although that may have just been because TGS came much closer to launch.Understandable. Last year Nintendo did a Wii event in September right around TGS when they announced the price, launch date, launch games, etc. However, that was all separate from TGS; something Nintendo did separately for themselves.

I was under the impression there was going to be a new multiplayer game mode.

Definitely not, at least not without the controllers. But we're talking about the same MS that charges $130 for a wireless adaptor. I thought for sure those controllers were going to cost $50 each. Anyway the game looks like a solid bargin bin pickup.[QUOTE="Teufelhuhn"][QUOTE="zzzaaa"]Am I the only one who thought Halo 3 didnt look all that great?TyrantDragon55

I hope,I will own both the Pc and the x360 versions :).
I was checking the Pc trailer again and that looked like a new map but it could be an already existent map from another point of view I'm not quite sure.
IMO the most Important question here is,Are those maps(If they exist)and the new chapter Six going to be avalible in xlive?.

Yes Wii Play is popular. But the difference between Wii Play and Scene-It is that Wii Play comes with a standard controller that you can use for every other Wii game. Scene It comes with4 littlecontrollers that will be used for less than 5% of the 360's games.
At first I thought Scene-It was going to be an XBLA game...
Who else thought RE5 was MGS4 when the trailer started?PBSnipes
I definitely thought for sure that was MGS4 too
Was I the only one dissapointed with the Assassin's Creed demo? The graphics looked pretty nice, but some of the combat and other animations looked a little off. The floating body glitch was pretty hilarious as well.TyrantDragon55
I think the problem with this conference and it will probably be evident in the other 2 also is a lot of developers were not invited or decided to opt out of E3 this year and will be doing their own shows. Things like TGS and X07 will probably bea better indicator of a platforms future strength in the future.heretrixThe 2 month delay might have made it too close to other shows. I mean X07 should be in about 2 months and so should TGS. Hopefuly Nintendo and Sony take it serious tomorrow or E3 will truelly be dead. What's going to happen with that other show GamePro or what ever? Is it still going to happen and when if so? Wonder how are seriously are they going to treat that one.
All Sony really needs to do is show Killzone 2 gameplay footage remotely close to the target render in 05 to beat that presentation.iunderstand
Crysis owned but I don't think it would be possible also If thats the only thing they show it would be sub-par.A new PSP redesign plus new exclusive games would be now quite a good show but Sony 06 conference was really meh at best.

You don't even need a new controller for a freaking quiz game. Why would you pay full price for a quiz game and 4 controllers that do less than your standard 360 controller?

I have a feeling Sony will really step up and announce some good stuff.
As for Nintendo, I don't know...
[QUOTE="Banhammer3000"]Maybe you looked the other way :|.Because I saw that Megaton Loud and Clear.HoffgodAnd that megaton would be... what? I saw the whole conference and saw nothing that even borders on a megaton.
So you didn't get exited a little?.Not even Resident evil 5 put a smile in your face?...Wow.

Personally, I don't think Sony will have to do much to beat out Microsoft this E3... Unless they are all taking it less seriously...

yeah I agree i think Microsoft has nothing to prove this year considering all the games coming out in 07, sony however needs to fix there blackeye

I think Nintendo will have a couple surprises and should have no problem beating Microsoft's presentation. Sony on the other hand needs this to happen for them, so they will probably show off some Killzone 2 gameplay footage and maybe a couple other unannounced goodies.

Well part of it is that the game is going to be running in god mode, and it was damn buggy to begin with. Hopefully Ubi will delay it if Ubi Montreal can't get it together.[QUOTE="slothboyadvance"]Personally, I don't think Sony will have to do much to beat out Microsoft this E3... I almost wet myself when they had thatone MGS4 trailer that was like 15 minutes long. Yeah, another one of those would definately suffice.

Yeah, especially since they do less than a standard controller. I don't see why they didn't make the game an XBL game for 10 bucks and use the standard controller.
WOW Microsoft had a great conference full of good news about new exclusives....honestly...they had NOTHING.mrboo15
You expected them to have new exclusives and have them release within 5 months? that makes perfect sense... Instead of fake trailers and cgi, they had hands on demo's and gameplay for the majority of it and focused on this fall.

So buy 3 extra controllers that cost what, $40 a pop and $10 for the game. $130.. or $60 and 4 controllers included. Not everyone has 4 controllers. I myself do but I know many people with only one

Those controllers are not worth 40 dollars, and how many controllers do you need for a quiz game? Just pass around a single controller, it would work the same for 50 dollars less.

For a game you have to hit the buzzer on which he even said while showing the controller... makes perfect sense, /rolls eyes. So $10 a controller, wireless at that, isn't worth it?
