I think the difference here is that cows will probably still buy Rise of the Tomb Raider next year since Square hasn't stepped on any toes outside of making the exclusive deal itself. Where as lems won't be spending any money when the eventual Super Duper I Can't Believe It's Not Street Fighter LXIV Ultra Fashion Edition hits the Xbox One.

Didn't Sony help with the game? it would be like Bayonetta 2 going to other consoles...also Capcom already confirm that they will not have several versions of the game, they will update everything through DLC.

We'll see how long this "exclusive" lasts, it's Street Fighter and it's Capcom, this isn't a PlayStation franchise and it never was. This isn't like a Dead Rising scenario where this game launched only on Xbox 360, it will come to Xbox One at some point in some incarnation, likely a Super Street Fighter V or something.

I wouldn't put too much bank on Capcom's exclusivity deals, what they say doesn't hold much weight.

Unlike Tomb Raider, Street Fighter V is never going to xbone and it's on track to be the biggest fighting multiplayer game of the generation.

All characters weren't free on SF IV. Every time they added new characters you had to buy a new version of the game for $15. I'm sure Capcom will find a way to milk gamers with SFV as well. Killer Instinct goes by seasons. Each season has 8 new characters. SFIV and SFV looks and plays pretty much the same. They aren't that different. No I won't STFU. lol!! Butthurt?!?!? LMAO!!! @i_p_daily: First all of SFIV did not sell poorly. The original release sold around 4 million and re-releases added another 3 or 4 million. If that is your definition of poor then 99 percent of games sell terrible then.

Yes that is poor sales when you combine the PS3/360/PC and cant crack 10 million when there's over 200 million potential customers. Also you have to take into account that many of those sales were not sold at full price .

@i_p_daily: No that is not poor sales no matter how ignorant you are to that reality. VERY few games sell 10 million copies regardless of install base. There might be around 5 IPs that can see those kind of numbers as a reasonable goal. You yeah some crazy perspective if you actually believe that.

And here goes another TR comparison even if you don't like it. The majority of TR PC sales were $5 bargain bin variety. SFIV didn't have that problem.
